10-Year Life Plan Essay

I see myself successful, living my best life in another country traveling and rich enough
to fully support myself until I retire. I see myself designing great houses and buildings
that are very pleasing to the eyes of the people. My course is related to what I see
myself doing in 10 years because I wanted to be an architect soon. I am inspired by the
architects that made buildings in the Middle East like the burj khalifa and more. I want to
design beautiful buildings too in the future and be recognized as one of the greatest
architects in the future. My first choice is to be in the field of medicine but due to high
cost and low salary, I decided to change to architecture since I have a big interest in
designing houses too. I can change society by giving them better homes and by
designing houses I can make homes that are easier to live in and very accessible to
people with disabilities. My first plan after graduating is to get a job and save enough
money to buy land so that I can build my first apartment. I can use the money I’ll earn in
renting an apartment to buy more land and build more businesses. But architecture isn’t
all about building houses and buildings, architecture is useful in different scenarios
. I can also think of an efficient way to make the transportation system better by having
better roads, being able to drive without the hassle of being stuck in traffic, and
designing environmentally friendly waiting sheds. Being able to invent new things that
can make everyday life easy and hassle free. We can also build new places or venues
that are very innovative and designed to fit with the citizen’s taste or fondness. This way
we can have a social gathering and organization that can help with the people’s
relationship with each other. With the problems with global warming and climate change
right now, we can also utilize in combining and consolidating to have a nature and
eco-friendly environment and society. The youth has the potential of change, sadly most
of the adults do not listen to the youths because they said we are just a kid and we can’t
make a difference. This generation will be the next leaders of the country, we will inherit
the world from the adults and can change and revolutionize the way adults are running
the world. Most youths have fallen from a fake history due to a massive circulation of
fake news on social media. My advice to the youths is to be a critical thinker, fact-check
published contents on social media, be a responsible citizen and learn to stand up for
what is right. We have the power to change everything that has been going through the
world, this is just the beginning of our fight against the oppressors and abusers of
power. We must defy every immorality that the people are doing. Be brave and
determined in standing up for every right we have.
