A. On the celebration of the Holy Eucharist

 Wear your gala uniform, comb your hair neatly and wash your hands properly especially if
you are going to receive the Holy Communion.
 Observe silence before entering the Mother Francisca Hall.
 Sit properly. (no cross legs)
 While waiting for the Mass to start, have a moment of silence.
 Refrain from chatting with your seatmates. Give your time and attention to God.
 In worshipping, joyfully and reverently participate in the songs and prayers. “As we sing, we
pray twice”- St. Augustine.
 Listen attentively to the readings and homily. You are there to participate in the Mass and not
just to watch what goes on the altar.
 Observe proper posture at Mass (kneeling, standing or sitting)
 When the collection basket is passed, give generously no matter how small for the outreach
programs of our institution. You are also encouraged to offer goods for the undeserved
members of the community.
 Prepare yourselves mentally during the Consecration. It is the most sacred part of the Mass
when the bread and wine transformed into the Body and Blood of Christ. Be thankful for the
gift you are about to receive. When the priest raises the chalice and ciborium, pray silently
“my Lord and my God”.

His grace to fill your soul. Wait until the last pupil or student return to your row.
