The meeting took place on March 21, 2022 at Dalapitan Barangay Hall, Dalapitan
Matalam. It started at 9:00 AM. when the meeting was called to order. The presiding officer Mr.
Alejandro Cabatingan designated Mr. Franklin Melencion who then took the names of the
members of the association/organization attending the organizational meeting. The Presiding
Officer discussed to the body the importance and advantage of forming themselves into an
association /organization.

The discussion was followed by a motion to the name the organization.

Name of the Association: Dalapitan Mango Stakeholders Association

After nomination and division of the house, the following individuals were elected as the
officers of the organization.

THE CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS OF

DALAPITAN MANGO STAKEHOLDERS ASSOCIATION

PREAMBLE

We the Filipino working people have this day voluntarily associated ourselves for the
purpose of forming a (rural workers) organization under the laws of the Philippines more
particularly Presidential Decree No. 1367 and Proclamation No, 1852.

ARTICLE I – NAME AND DOMICILE

Section 1. This be known as DALAPITAN MANGO

organization shall
STAKEHOLDERS ASSOCIATION herein referred to as the Organization.

Section 2. The Principal address of the organization shall be at Dalapitan Barangay Hall,
Matalam, Cotabato.

ARTICLE 11 – DECLARATION OF PRINCIPLES

1. Mission: To the living standard of its members by helping one another thru agri-preneurship.
2. Vission: Each member are satisfied, contented living in a community of peace and harmony.

The Organization has for its objectives the following;

1. To help members engaged in mango production look for better opportunities in both
domestic and export markets.
2. To encourage members to adopt new technology to increase production for exportable
quality of fruits.
3. To engage in any domestic or entrepreneurial ventures for the benefit of members.
4. To undertake the processing of mango and its by-product in coordination with
different government agencies as well as other private sectors.
5.To coordinate and collaborate with other foundation/federation engaged in the mango
industry particularly in processing and marketing.

ARTICLE III – PLACE OF OPERATION

Section 1. The place of operation of the organization shall be at the whole of Matalam Cotabato
Province, most especially for non-irrigated areas.

ARTICLE IV – MEMBERSHIP

Section 1. Qualification of Members. Members shall be open to any person who is residing in
a different barangay of Matalam at least one (1) year successively Filipino of legal age, farmers,
 known to plant mango, and other mango stakeholders. He/she may become member of the
organization by filing an application for membership addressed to the president.

Section 2. The person willing must take his application for membership in writing on a form
provided by the Organization for the purpose. It shall be the duties and responsibilities of the
President to approve or disapprove the application. The applicant must be assisted in filling up
the application if he/she is illiterate.

Section 3. Resignation. A member of the organization may resign be tendering a letter of

resignation 10 days before the actual date of his resignation so that President will have enough
time to assess the accountability of said member if he has not yet settled his accountability.

Section4. Expulsion. Any member who fails to pay his monthly dues, fees or contribution for
three(3) successive time and violated major policy of the organization and membership
agreement may, after thorough investigation and after due process/hearing be suspended or
terminated from membership in the organization upon complying the provision herewith
provided.

Section 5. Death. The death of member shall automatically terminate his/her membership in the
organization. The legitimate heirs of the decease member shall have the same rights on the
equities of deceased member and shall have preference in the admission to the organization upon
complying the provision herewith provided.
