1. What would you recommend Vicky? Do you think Vicky should do voluntary
work? What are your reasons? (page 125)
I think she should volunteer because she is a person who wants to do something during
a free year that she will have, so I think it would be a good option to teach English in
China. My reasons are simple, obviously she knows English and she should take
advantage of her ability and travel to a place like China and share the experience of
teaching so that other people can learn.
2. Rewrite the sentences using the words in brackets. Writing Skills 4 c page 125.

 Maybe It would be better to look for a job with a marketing company in

3. How often do you talk about ...? Which have you recently talked about? How come?
The weather. - I am talking about the weather very often; because I don't watch the news
on TV very often, but I find out about the weather on social media like Facebook, TikTok
and Instagram. Talking about the weather is interesting, but the times I do it is with my
friends, my age or with my family.
Politics. - I almost don't like to talk about politics, it's a more complicated subject to talk
about because people don't always have the same political ideal and politics is confused
with fanaticism; although, no, that doesn't mean that I don't like the subject, I just prefer to
talk about it with people who have the same way of seeing life.
Films, music and books. - I like to talk a lot about these subjects because I like cinema,
Korean and American series, in short, any art that can be projected on a screen, no matter
the genre, I have a lot of fun talking about them. However, the subjects I am also passionate
about are books and music, and in the midst of friendships I always find someone to talk to
about everything a little bit.
Future plans. - I don't talk much about things that may be in the future, because I think
that it's a way to advance the process and many times they don't happen. However, I like to
plan and organize the things I want in the short term, I am a very reserved person when I
say my plans for the future, because many times I have said my ideas and someone else has
gone ahead of me in some way.
