1) Personal development portfolio (PDP) and Continuing Professional
Development (CPD)
Everyone in life has clear plans and goals in their future to help them determine what to do to
achieve their goals, I personally have my future plan that is after setting up. plan to become a
professional web developer and to be able to do that I will learn the concept of Personal
Development Portfolio and Continuing Professional Development and also apply both
methods to my plan. By applying both methods above it will help me formulate a detailed plan
to achieve my goal.
A complete and sequential personal development plan, through your own research and
experience, the PDP also known as Personal Development Portfolio is the process of building
a personalized action plan structure based on reflection in the process. study process,
recognizing strengths and weaknesses. and outlines ways for improvement, which in turn sets
specific operational goals for personal growth in your career or for personal improvement. A
good plan allows me to strategize and stay on track when things go wrong.
Through the process of learning the definition of the PDP, I have applied the features to make
my plan even though there are still errors in the process of doing as it is still based on a certain
sequence.
Firstly, writing down a Personal Development Portfolio, when planning a personal
development plan just thinking what needs improvement is not enough, instead I provided the
framework give your thoughts and write it down. Because it makes plans more concrete to
help me make things previously unattainable, achievable, come true and force the individual
to take steps in a specific order. be able to achieve them. Secondly, Personal development
plans must be realistic and workable. Things that were previously unachievable in personal
development planning are now possible and now is the time to be realistic and actionable.
After applying realistic and feasible planning, it helps me to define specific goals, saves time
and reduces risks, and also helps the plan to be implemented in a way effective. Thirdly, A
planning should reflect both a long-term and a short-term perspective. It is not necessary to
set your goals too high or too low. Instead, I prioritized long-term goals and broken them down
into smaller goals that were easier to follow step by step. Breaking down my goals and
matching myself helps me to identify my current abilities and skills. determine whether the
plan is successful or not. Must be based on essential values of the plan. There should be a
purpose for the plan behind the goal to keep pushing forward and achieving your dreams.
For me It is very important to create a personal development portfolio that helps me define my
goals as a front-end developer, while also motivating individuals to continue to achieve goals
and make decisions. Personal Development Portfolio provides clear vision in the planning
process to help me improve my work-life balance in the best way. At the same time assessing
my personal progress and recognizing my abilities makes it easier for me to accomplish my
goals.
A well-crafted plan will help an individual realize his or her goal, but if the plan is made but not
done, the plan is very unlikely to succeed and after learning about the CPD process. what?
This is information that I have obtained through various sources of information CPD stands for
Continuing Professional Development which is a process that requires continuous personal
development, while maintaining and enhancing knowledge. By learning, CPD not only helps
me track and record my skills, knowledge and experience, but CPD also helps me to apply
what I learned through training courses. or at workCPD on the other hand is a long-term,
systematic and planned process to develop expertise, creativity, and innovation that delivers
valuable results for your individual and career.

7
After understanding the concept of CPD through a variety of sources of information I have
drawn some important characteristics when planning my personal,Activities must be
specifically listed, makes learning conscious and active, rather than passive and reactive, while
continuously improving skills,Do this after the planning process,Evaluate whether the small
goals are suitable for you, in order to start moving towards even bigger goals and not meet
them, you must change until they match your abilities, the primary goal of management and
human development, make sure to regularly improve your skills, at any job, age or education
level.
In addition to the characteristics of the staff that I have learned through looking at different
sources of information, CPD is very important to individuals and organizations. For me, CPD
allows me to continuously update my knowledge to keep up with current standards of others
in the same field, thereby developing myself and being professionally and clearly evaluated.
high. Because CPD part of the process has been planned and has a clear view of the required
improvements. In addition, CPD helps individuals focus on how to become a more capable
and efficient professional, adapting to changing job requirements. On the other hand, CPD
also helps me identify knowledge gaps and leverage existing skills and competencies to come
up with solutions to those gaps.
For organizations, CPD benefits the organization through brand recognition and recognition
while utilizing in-house Continuous Career Development to encourage and foster a healthy
team culture. sleep. On the other hand, institutions that are staffed with a CPD obligation are
considered members of the specialized bodies. However, if training resources in CPD are low
and organizations have to resort to external CPD training providers to be able to meet the
requirements to improve or redesign individual skills, tell your career, age or education level.
It can be seen that applying the PDP and CPD approach to making a personal development
plan or a specific project will help us define clear goals and at the same time motivate us to
continue. The goal increases the feasibility and reality that is essential for a project and the
chances of success are very high. For example, the difference between a professional who
applies PDP and CPD methods to do a project and a professional does not use PDP and
CPD. In the same way: Both are professional in their projects, defining the goals, knowing the
structure and content of the project, and distributing specific activities to implement. On a
different side: people who apply PDP and CPD methodically will make the project better, when
implementing PDP it helps us to build an organized plan, identify items. spend clearly, track
project activities and progress, give methods to avoid risks happening. On the other hand,
creating a personal development portfolio provides a clear vision for the individual to achieve
his or her goals and to know what to do and what to do with the project. Conversely, people
who do not apply PDP and CPD do not define specific goals may have risks in the process of
making projects, resulting in the project going not as expected, but a professional does not
know. planning and setting out specific operational goals for what to do next in the project, it
is very difficult to avoid the specific risks that when the project does not know how to start from
the beginning making the progress of the project. the judgment was not going well. Example:
When 2 people work on the same project, there is a problem with effective communication.
For people applying PDP and CPD methods, they will develop a specific plan, define clear
goals to implement project activities, so that when implementing the project, they will rely on
The program has been set out in the plan to help the project to be implemented successfully
whereas the person who did not apply the PDP and the CPD will not be able to identify their
goals and do not know how to develop specific plans in the project. get stuck and take more
time to deal with it.

8
In conclusion, the Personal Development Portfolio and Continuing Professional Development
are crucial in creating a personal development plan or working on a project. It will help you
define clear goals to do so that you can strategize your plan and implement your goals
effectively.

2) Produce a development plan that outlines responsibilities,

performance objectives and required skills, knowledge and learning
for own future goals.
In every one of our lives there are goals for our own future plans with those goals that will
motivate us to strive to achieve our goals. So, I have made a plan for myself, which is to

and apply them to the activities of the website and make it easy for everyone to access and
this is also the main job of the front-end developer. To become a professional front-end

the situation Currently, Time bound: The completion time is 5 years and that time matches the
goals set out, after I have set the goals, I will combine the above criteria to accomplish the
goals that I have. In order to meet the conditions of becoming a front-end developer, I need to
