Technological Dimension of Globalization QUIZ 4

One of the most essential parts of globalization is its technical dimension, which affects people's lives in
a variety of ways. We can speak with individuals all around the world thanks to technological advancements.
We can exchange emails and text messages, make phone calls, and even utilize video conferencing
software to communicate with individuals who are thousands of miles away. Technology also allows us to
work from anywhere in the world—we can hold meetings over Skype or FaceTime and work from home or
even another country! Technology is one of the most powerful forces in the world, and it is continually
affecting our lives. In a good manner, technology has altered the way we accomplish things, communicate
with one another, and connect with our surroundings. We can now communicate with friends and relatives
across the world while sitting at home in our pajamas. By viewing movies or playing games on our computers,
tablets, or phones, we may travel across time and space. We can utilize technology to make art, learn new
languages, and travel to new places all from the comfort of our own homes!

But there are also negative effects of globalization on technology. Our data is often stored in massive
databases that are owned by companies like Facebook or Google. This means that all your photos and posts
could be used against you if those companies choose to share them with advertisers or law enforcement
officials without your consent. And it depicts in the illustration that it made us lazier than we should have.
Technological advancement has made all things easier that results of lack of human socialization and
interaction. Technology makes us drown into artificial reality that we tend to forget that we are living into our
own reality which is the outside world. Even though technology helps us in many ways, don’t let yourself be
swallowed by it.

The technological dimension of globalization has had a significant impact on people's lives by causing
a great deal of stress and anxiety. People are constantly on their phones, and they spend far more time
online than they did previously. This is harmful to their mental health, but they are unaware of it. They must
be more conscious of how much time they spend on social media and other types of technology to set
suitable limits. The more reliant a person is on technology, the less likely he or she is to survive without it. For
example, if you were to lose your cell phone or laptop, you would be completely unable to function in
society. You would not be able to communicate with anyone by phone or text messages; you wouldn't be
able to pay your bills online; and most importantly, you wouldn't be able to access social media sites like
Facebook and Twitter. This level of dependency is only increasing as time goes on because there are more
and more new technologies being created every day that make life easier for people around the world but
also make them more dependent on those technologies.
