Introduction
Both IDA-11 and IDA-211 devices offer the same hardware inputs and outputs and run the same software application and this guide
is common to both devices. The only difference is the housing and the IDA-211 sports a display. The software application is referred
to as IDAX while the two hardware devices are referred to collectively as IDA-x11.
Out of the box, the IDA-x11 will communicate with Yara Telemetry when the SIM is activated however, it will NOT transmit any
data until a mode of operation has been chosen. The mode of operational is determined by, and referred to as a Script. The IDA-x11
is supplied with several scripts for Nitrates, YSM and Air1/AdBlue applications.
WebUI
The IDAX Web User Interface (WebUI) is very similar to the IDA-10 and IDA-100 interface however it is a completely new system
and there are differences.
Settings – Site name, Group code and Time zone
Click the Settings tile
Click on the name and enter a meaningful name. This makes it easier to
locate in Yara Telemetry.
Click the tick to accept the change.
Set the Time zone if necessary and click the tick to accept the change.
The AdBlue script enables one input and configures it with default settings. To edit the default settings, click on the AI0: AdBlue
row.

Non-linear signal from a pressure sensor
The analogue signal represents the height of the product in a cylinder-on-it’s-side tank where 4mA is empty and full will not reach
20mA.
You may have to repeat 4 & 5, adjusting the Radius to get the calculated capacity to match the tank.

Sending a calibrated level signal to an external display
Click the Outputs tile and select AO0: Display output.
1. Set the Scaling max to match the Scaling max of the input.
2. Select appropriate units. This is only for display purposes.
3. Click the tick to accept the change.
NEVER CHANGE THE VALUES OF Measuring range – unless you know exactly what you are doing.
Low and high level switching
Click the Parameters tile and edit the Low_Level parameter or High_Level parameter.
A value of 0 disables switching. Set the value to the level where the switch show activate.
For Low_Level, this might be 200 litres. When the tank level drops below 200 litres, Digital Output 2 will activate (close).
If Tank volume < Low_Level then DO2 = closed, otherwise DO2 = open
For High_Level, this might be 3500 litres for a 4000 litre tank. Digital output 3 will be active (closed) when the level is below
3500 litres. Levels above 3500 litres will deactivate (open) the output. As this might be used for overfill protection, the output will
also deactivate (open) if power is lost or if the device is rebooted.
If Tank volume > High_Level then DO3 = open, otherwise DO3 = closed
