Dear Sir,
Good day!
I’m Yvette Marie M. Manzano, with ID number 2019-07086-MN-0. I am a Financial Management major in my
second year of BS in Business Administration. Below are my full details:
I am writing you to respectfully request readmission to the institution so that I can continue my studies and sign
up for the 2022–2023 academic year.
During the middle part of the second semester of the Academic Year 2020-2021, I stopped attending my
online classes because I could not keep up with the assignments given by the professors as my smartphone was
sluggish and had problems with the battery as well. I had particular difficulty this time when I no longer got hard
copies of the modules from school. In addition, I was not able to regularly purchase load for my mobile phone
given my family faced financial difficulties with the lockdown which prevented my widowed mother, a massage
therapist , from working. I had a mental breakdown given my situation and lost interest in everything even
studying. I started sabotaging myself and isolating myself from everyone. During this time, I spent the entire
day in bed without eating unless I was forced by my mother. I stayed up late every night mostly crying,
hoping that I will pass away. I kept my mom in the dark about my decision to stop studying because I kept
telling myself that she does not need to know as I was going to die anyway. After some months in this
situation, I realized one day that my mom does not deserve the heartache I was causing her. I have decided to
move on and make things right especially with the news that face-to-face classes will resume soon.
I am writing with utmost sincerity to request consideration for readmission so I can be allowed to enroll this
September, 2022. I am committed to do well in my studies to repay what my mother did for me. I will do my
very best to ensure that I finish my studies and graduate in the university I have strived hard to be a part of.
Yours sincerely,
Signed.
