2. Use the 5 inch carriage bolts and 5/16 hardware from the Large
Module Mounting Kit PN: 2001370 to mount the modules to the
Module Mounting Plate.
3. Use the 7 inch carriage bolts, 5/16 hardware, and Large Module
Bracket Strap from the Large Module Mounting Kit to mount the
Module Mounting Plate to the machine.
4. The cables leading from the Liquid Product Control Module to the
Liquid Manure control valve are three feet in length, so mount
Liquid Product Control Module where cables will reach.

10. Route cable to avoid any sharp edges and pinch points. Bundle up
all excess cable and tie with zip-ties.
Step-by-Step 1. Connect the gray 24-pin FCI plug of the Manure Flow Control
instructions for Cable PN: 4004400-20 OR 4004401-20 to the Liquid Rate Control
installing the Module.

Cable and Note: Steps 2 through 10 are instructions for installing the
Krohne Signal Manure Flow Control Cable on a manure tank with a pinch
Converter Cable valve. If your manure tank is controlled with a hydraulic pump
continue to step 11.
2. Locate the two Deutsch 2-pin plugs connected to the dual solenoid
on the selector valve. Disconnect these two plugs.
4. Connect the black 2-pin Deutsch plug with the yellow and black
wires from the Pinch Valve Flow Control Cable to the right 2-pin
Deutsch receptacle on the dual solenoid below the selector valve
control block.
5. Locate the two Deutsch Flying lead Cables, PN: 4002641 in the
DirectCommand Kit.
6. Locate and identify the leads coming out of the dual solenoid on the
selector valve.
8. Insert the bare solenoid wires from the previous step into the butt
connectors on the Deutsch Flying lead Cable, PN: 4002641. The
solenoid ground wire connects to the black flying lead and the
solenoid signal wire connects to the white flying lead. Refer to
your specific selector valve literature for wiring connections.
10. Connect the 2-pin Deutsch plug with the yellow and black wires
from the Pinch Valve Flow Control Cable, PN: 4004400-20 to the
mating 2-pin receptacle on the Deutsch Flying lead Cable. This
should be connected to the valve decrease solenoid.
11. Locate the hydraulic control valve on the manure tank that
regulates slurry pump speed.
15. Insert and crimp the bare control wires from the previous step into
the butt connectors on the Weatherpack Flying Lead Cable PN:
4002645. The servo close/pwm ground wire from the valve
connects to the yellow flying lead. The servo open/pwm signal
wire from the valve connects to the green flying lead. Refer to your
specific control valve literature for wiring connections.
16. If using two control valves repeat steps 13-15 on the second
valve.
17. Connect the Weatherpack Flying Lead Cable to the mating 2-pin
tower on the Manure Flow Control Cable.
19. Route the 3-pin Weatherpack shroud of the Manure Flow Control
Cable PN: 4004400-20 OR 4004401-20 back to the flow meter.
20. Open the signal converter on the Krohne flow meter to access the
power and signal terminal block. This procedure will vary based
on Krohne Signal Converter model.
21. Locate the Krohne Signal Converter Cable. PN: 4002487 included
in the Liquid Manure Kit.
22. Remove any existing power and signal wires connected to the
terminal block on the flow meter signal converter and install the
Krohne Signal Converter Cable.
23. Refer to the figure on the next page for power and signal
connections based on the Krohne Signal Converter installed on
your flow meter.
25. Secure all cables with zip ties included in the Cable Installation Kit,
PN: 2000901-1 avoid sharp edges and pinch points that could
cause any cable damage.
Step-by-Step for 1. Mount the Liquid Swath Control Module PN: 4002862 to the
Installing the ISO Module Mounting Plate with the Liquid Rate Control Module.

Control Module PN: 4002862.
8. Connect the gray 2-pin plug of the 12 Boom Section Cable to the
mating receptacle on the Liquid Swath Control Module.
10. Route all cables to avoid any sharp edges and pinch points.
Bundle up all excess cable and tie with zip-ties.

NOTE: If using this kit on an implement that is raised out of the ground
when not applying, it is recommended to install an optional Implement
Switch. This will prevent the controller from turning on product flow
when the implement is out of the ground and over an unapplied area of
the field.
5. Plug the 3-pin shroud of the implement switch into the 3-pin
Weatherpack tower of the CAN Implement Switch Cable PN:
4002658.
Setting Up 1. Refer to the Quick Reference Guide, PN: 2006010-ENG, for further
instructions on setting up the Display.
the Display
2. Refer to the chart below for setting up the Display.
Determines where the control system switches between using Valve response 1
and Valve response 2 speed settings. Decreasing this value will have the overall
effect of speeding up servo valve response. Increasing this value will have the
Response overall effect of slowing down servo valve response.

NOTE: Leaving all other valve control settings at the default value and making a
small adjustment to this setting is usually all that is required to fine-tune the
control system.
