STOP ASIAN HATE

There has been an alarming rise in xenophobic backlash, racial harassment, and violence
directed towards Asians worldwide, with the virus being blamed on Asians. Over 10,000 hate
crimes against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders were reported during the pandemic in the
United States. Several high-profile violent incidents against Asian Americans have occurred,

ranging from violent thefts to fatal assaults. In the picture, which represents the Asian hate, an
older woman was attacked on Market Street in San Francisco, one of the victims of a wave of
attacks against Asians; nonetheless, she managed to defend herself and injure her assailant.
Furthermore, we should all learn more about making the world an equal place for everyone.
