WORK IMMERSION PROPER
A. The Company
Our partner LGU is located at Mangaldan, Pangasinan. The SK chairman
that was assigned to us was elected for a three-year term. Our LGU's
history and profile were not mentioned because the meetings were solely
based on our tasks.
1. Nature of the Business/LGU
Their nature of business is starting from the community. They are there to
help solve and maintain peace around the community. Also they focus on
the youth to groom them into being a better citizen.
2. Description of the Products/Services
Their services are primarily for the good of the society. They make ways to
serve their community, especially the youth, by developing programs to
address various issues.
3. Target Market
Their targeted audience is everyone in their society, with a special
emphasis on youth especially with those who have disability.
4. Organizational Structure
As I previously said, due to our meetings concentrating on our roles and
duties, organizational structures and backgrounds of our LGU were not
addressed.
Our first day was mainly spent getting to know one another. Our supervisor, who introduced himself with the Context
of his barangay, also introduced himself and shared some hopes for what will happen in this virtual immersion.

POST IMMERSION
A. Performance Evaluation
B. Student-Trainee Assessment
C. Certificate of Completion
To sum it all up, my internship was extremely beneficial and surpassed my standards,
owing to the fact that I had no prior experience working and performing tasks in a real
workplace. I wanted it to be close to a school assignment, but it was not. For me, the
greatest strength someone could have is experience, and so this job immersion
provided me with that perspective. Similar to the time out assignment, I can't just finish
and leave my working environment; the time out task taught me how to be an employee.
In addition, the general task of writing, proposing a project was difficult but useful. From
the time I spent on task to the final program, each and every bit became extremely
beneficial. While time in and out are not needed in class, this work immersion program
taught me that even if my tasks or meetings are all in the midday, I must still get up
early and time in. I had to do a lot of thinking to find out what I could suggest, and it had
to be original and useful. Since it's difficult to come up with a new project idea, I put a lot
of thought into it. my project proposal presentation was also interesting because you
had to discuss your proposal piece by piece and clearly for your listener to appreciate it.
As a whole, this work immersion provided me with valuable information and experience
that will benefit me towards my career development.
E. Updated Resumé
Part IV
SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION
• For the first day, we just do the meet and greet with the supervisor that assigned
to us. We just introduce ourselves and give some expectations on this virtual
work immersion. For the second day, we meet our supervisor via video call in
messenger and gave us our first task. Our first task was creating a project
proposal for youth that will also benefit the community. It took us three (3) days to
finish this first task. For the third day, me and my partner just brainstorm on what
will be our project proposal all about. For the fourth day, I started to make the
content of our project proposal and put it in the power point presentation. For the
fifth day, we finalized our project proposal and submitted it to our supervisor. For
the sixth day, we had a meeting that talked about the project proposal we made. I
just discussed how I come up with the idea of social inclusion and equity. For the
seventh day, we had our final meeting or the send of meeting with our
supervisor.
B. Conclusion
• With the task that was given to me, I’ll be able to explore my knowledge and also
get some idea from my own experience with the programs and activities that our
community made. With that, I can make my own program and activities for my
fellow youth that will help them and the community be meaningful. I am happy for
this immersion because I’ll be able to finish the task ahead of time and we used
my suggestion to be the idea in our first task. That day, was actually not tiring
because my classmate tallada help me to finish the task. I’m grateful that we
have a supportive supervisor and professor. I realized I can recommend this
project proposal to our local government unit (LGU) for this to be implemented.
Being an intern was not that easy, you should socialized with the other interns to
create a positive workplace. Having a chance to share my idea to my supervisor
and co-interns during our meeting was so meaningful. I don’t know that my idea
will use to help some community having problems with social inclusion and
equity. This work immersion done by UE was very meaningful to us because this
work immersion will help us soon once we enter the real world. This will help us
to prepare on what will be the feeling inside of a work place. We are grateful that
UE gave us this kind of opportunity.
