1. Certainty means finding and creating a sense of centeredness and stability within

2. Variety extremes when our primary driver is constant change. While there may be
times when feasting at the full buffet of diversity is exactly what we need

3. Significance telling that we do not exist in isolation but as part of a greater whole,
and to be an effective part of that whole we need to know that we are playing our
part - and being honored for that expression

4. Love and Connection authentically love and make deep connections with other
beings

5. Growth one thing that is true of every living thing on earth is that in order to
survive, in order to thrive, we must grow

6. Contribution to make a difference, the gift or bring something to the world that
continues to benefit others when we are gone

1. How do the Six Human Needs show up currently in your life?

The Six Human Needs showed up currently in my own life, to be specific, as a legal management
student and at the same time as an individual who plays a part in my family and to the society.
These Six Human Needs was manifested in a sense that all of these six have helped me to find
stability within myself in this time of uncertainty that somehow I was able to get into the idea of
having a sense of centeredness that up until now I am still learning to do so. I also learn to
embrace constant change to be a better version of myself despite being isolated to the outside
world that in the period of two years amidst the pandemic I learn to change for a better to
improve myself for the people around me not just for myself. I also take part of the greater
whole in playing a part in a society in my own little ways. Other than that, with the connection
of the Six Human Needs I also learn to have deep connection and expressing love to everyone,
encapsulate the opportunity for growth, and lastly being part of making a greater impact to the
world. These Six Human Needs help me throughout the pandemic in finding my purpose and
learning more about myself. It gives a sense of identity and at the same time recognition to the
perspective of an individual.
2. If you ranked the Human Needs in order of which gets most of your focus what would be at the
top of the list?
If I were to rank these Six Human Needs, probably, I would put Love and Connection at the top
of the list as it may sound as cliché. But love and connection can pave way to the other
remaining five Human Needs. When love and contribution is the foundation of these six,
contribution will follow then variety, growth, significance, then certainty. It just shows that love
and connection can be the answer for a more effective and faster progress to reach those Six
Human Needs. And I do believe that Love and Connection is a deep sense of humanity and
unanimity that can be and will always be an answer to every question.

3. Which of the Human Needs are you meeting in positive/life-giving ways and which ones feel out
of balance, over-indulged or lacking in your life?
The positive/life-giving ways among the human needs apparently is ‘Love and Connection’ and
the ones feel out of balance would probably be the ‘Certainty’. Love and Connection because
the fact that I received so much of love and connection I also practice and make it a habit of
making connection and spreading love among all the people. I genuinely make sure that as I
receive so much love and connection, I give back more than what I receive to spread the
message of the importance of love and connection. And the ones that is lacking in my life is
more presumably the ‘certainty’ because right now I still have a slight problem when finding
stability within myself.

4. What’s one Human Need that you could focus on fulfilling in a new way that would be more
aligned with who you came here to be and how you want to live your life?
I would say the one Human Need that I could focus on is the Contribution. Because as I grew up
that is one of my dreams. To give back to the society and to the entire humanity that would
leave a mark when I will be gone someday. ‘Leave a mark’ in a sense that it would be a big
impact to the society and many people will benefit from my contribution and not by the sense
of recognizing me for my contribution.

5. Is there a seventh or eighth Human Need that you would add to the list? How do you fulfill that?
I would say that the seventh Human Need that I would like to add up to the list is Fairness. I
would fulfill that by the instance that people will learn to value fairness and practice integrity at
all times. As this seventh Human Need is a pivotal element in a society and humanity where it
would make the society function as a cohesive harmonized group that would benefit every
individual.
