Goal: Your goal is to create a poem showing the relevance of consumerism in our lives in times
of pandemic. You may obtain some information from news articles or televised news. The
content of your poem should provide brief explanation citing your opinion on how every
consumer can help alleviate the situation in times of pandemic. Use modals such as can,
could, would in giving advices and tips on how to maximize resources to become a
responsible consumer.
You will be a poet who will make a thought provoking poem showing the importance of
proper consumerism in our lives in times of pandemic.
Role:
For modular leaners, your task will be shared to your family, friends and neighborhood.
Audience:
Not only Philippines but the entire world is currently experiencing turbulence in Economic
Situation: aspect. Economic establishment greatly affected by the pandemic are with the Hospitality
Industry such as hotels, travels and tours, entertainment and food industry. With this, the
Department of trade and Industry in partnership with The Department of Tourism and Food
and Drug Administration plan to launch a systematic project titled, ”BANGON! LABAN!,
SULONG! PILIPINAS” to prepare appropriate response during calamities . As part of the
plan, you are to convey your opinion on how to react as a responsible consumer in the
trying times like what we are experiencing right now. To intensify ideas you wish to
convey, use modals such as must, should, can, could etc.
