Whilst working from home, employees must take regular rest breaks when sitting for extended periods so as to ensure
good body posture and general fatigue are well managed. As a guide, a short rest break every hour should be
implemented to address such issues. Employees are also encouraged not to work for more than 5 consecutive hours
without taking a meal break.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE WORK FROM HOME (WFH) SCHEME

1. COMMENCEMENT DATE

2. REVIEW OF THE AGREEMENT


This Agreement will be reviewed prior to any re-negotiation and/or extension, whenever there are
changes to the structure and/or composition of the school work-related activities and/or as part of any
review of performance, tasks and priorities for the school. This will be reviewed on
_____________________________, 3 months after the commencement date and annually thereafter.

3. VARIATION OF THE AGREEMENT


Any variation to a working from home Agreement must be negotiated in consultation with all affected
parties, confirmed in writing, and signed by the faculty employee and direct supervisor and approved by
the next level supervisor.

Individual variations for specific occasions may be authorised in advance by the direct superior. Any
changes to the hours worked from home must be noted and recorded.

4. CHILD/DEPENDENT CARE AND OTHER INTERESTS


The faculty employee agrees to ensure that responsibility to care for children or other family or
household members, or engaging in any other non-work related interests will not compete with the
employee’s work requirements during the designated work hours.

5. LETTER OF INTENT
The faculty employee shall submit a letter of intent signifying his/her desire to render daily work under
the WFH arrangement.

6. PARAPHERNALIA REQUIREMENTS
The faculty employee herewith represents, warrants, and declares that he/she possesses all the following
requirements to enable effective delivery of learning to his/her assigned group/s of students at home, to
wit:
a. Computer (preferably a laptop) unit, with at least i5 processor or equivalent, and a memory of 4gb
RAM or higher.
b. Stable Internet service connection with a speed of at least 10 ~ 25 mbps.

c. Conducive work station at home which must have proper lighting, away from noise and without
distraction.

7. OFFICIAL TIME-IN / TIME-OUT


Just like in the ordinary or usual work routine, an official time-in/time out procedure is prescribed and in
place and for which the faculty employee represents and warrants to follow and adhere strictly to his/her
scheduled working hours. Assigned official time-in / time-out are disseminated through any official
company document.

8. USAGE OF LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM


To ensure effectiveness in the delivery of the new teaching modality being currently implemented by the
SCHOOL, the faculty employee hereby manifests and declares that he/she has a thorough working
knowledge and mastery in the use of these learning platforms.

9. CLASS ATTENDANCE
As in the usual face-to-face daily delivery of instructions, strict compliance on faculty employees’
attendance is a must. Therefore, the faculty employee agrees that if he/she shall not be able to attend
the scheduled class or classes, he/she shall promptly inform his/her immediate supervisor and/or any of
the proper school authority about the same to ensure that there will be no unnecessary disruption of
classes and the students shall not be deprived of the opportunity to learn for any particular day.

10. SUBMISSION OF REPORTORIAL REQUIREMENTS


The faculty employee expressly agrees to comply with all the teachers’ submissions and other reportorial
requirements which have earlier been made known to him/her by the SCHOOL and all submissions shall
be made on time and without the necessity of any reminders.

11. REPORTING DAY TO SITE


The supervisor may assign any work day for reporting to school or as on-campus physical presence of
faculty employee for any need of preparation and submission of all necessary prescribed reportorial
requirements.

12. PROHIBITION OF “OUT-OF-TOWN” / “OUT-OF-HOME”


By the very essence of adopting the work from home scheme, everyone is expected to conduct their
assigned daily tasks while staying at home. Therefore, going “out-of-town” or outside of the usual
residence which negates the purpose of the scheme, is strictly prohibited.

13. TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT


The company reserves the exclusive right and prerogative to terminate this work scheme at any time,
either in part or in whole, as Management deems fit and appropriate. In the case of this Agreement
being terminated, the employee will return, if any, all of The Company’s assets, files and documents
from the home worksite to The Company’s premises within an agreed period of time.

14. VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS


Violation of any or all of the terms and conditions of this work from home scheme shall be dealt with
accordingly and appropriate sanctions shall be imposed, which may include suspension from work
without pay from one (1) to three (3) days, and such other penalties as may be deemed fit and
appropriate in the premises.
