contracting firm. Working in Bangladesh on many prestigious and financially important project s. They
are hiring a third-party consultancy firm for structural assessment of the nearby structures next to a
prestigious project.

DELIVERABLES

A report in accordance with the Standard Assessment Guidelines including the BNBC requirements
in section 1.9.1.1. including assessing cracks, damping, roughness, deflection, spalls, settlements,
corrosion, shrinkage defects, and changes in primary structural design (if available). A briefing of the
FEM simulation model including reporting on the performance of the overall structure as well as the
demand-capacity ratio of individual components, including a description or reference to the method
used to calculate all applied anticipated loads. A summary of all input data and computer outputs
including final results, validation of input da ta, and interpretation of results.

detect signs of physical deterioration. including thorough field inspection
and random non-destructive testing to assess cracks, damping, roughness,
deflection, spalls, settlements, corrosion, shrinkage d efects, changes in
primary structural design (if available), etc. including a review of credible
structural documents and simplified calculations of the demand capacity

02 Consulting services for "Engineering Assessment" through the FEM Model

base evaluation of buildings to assess the structural performance of each
element. with strength parameters based on standard assessment
guidelines and credible structural documents from the client. Establishing a
lower bound equilibrium simulation model using linear elastic material
behavior by selecting individual properties of structural elements, and
confirming compliance with ASCE / BNBC / ACI (as applicable). Reporting
on the overall structural performance, as well as the demand -capacity ratio

03 Consulting services for "Detailed Engineering Assessment" through the

FEM Model base evaluation of buildings to assess the structural
performance of each element, with strength parameters based on sufficient
semi-destructive test. Preparation or validation of as -built structural
documents. Establishing a lower bound equilibrium simulation model using
linear elastic material behavior by selecting individual properties of
structural elements, and confirming compliance with ASCE / BNBC / ACI (as
applicable). Simulating nonlinear behavior for distress found in the building.
Reporting on the overall structural performance, as well as the demand -

Consulting services for "Retrofit design" based on performance evaluation

in detailed engineering assessment including identification of retrofitting
measurements, detailed construction drawings, and details of safety

TIME SCHEDULE

The assessment report of the project will be submitted within 60 working days after receiving the
work order and all the necessary information related to the evaluation work from the client.

MODE OF PAYMENT

Mode of Payment will be Cash or Cheque on the name of “ A. I. & Associates Ltd.”

The Payment will be made as per following schedule.

 60% payment of the amount is to be made as Advance with work order.

 40% payment of the amount will have to be paid after submission of Structural Assessment report.
