Answer the following questions:

1. Why does a professional like teaching require long years of initial professional education and
continuing professional development after long, arduous initial professional education?

In my insights, the reason why they have to continue their professions like in teachers, doctors,
engineers and any profession that included in taking professional license. In order for them to
continue their duties to comply with their professions that they were belong and to continue the
development of their professional abilities especially to the teachers. We, as a student we try to take
our profession by taking 4 years of learning and struggling in college and same thing to the other
professions they were taking and undergo to pursue their dreams to be professional someday. For
teachers why they have to continue their duties being a professional teacher because they have to
comply also and to enhance and develop their skills and knowledge. It is important for the teachers to
undergo in initial professional education because that is the process of honing their skills and
knowledge, capabilities and potentials when the time they were face the real actual of teaching and to
continue develop their self-confidence. According to Chrishirl Santos from her blog, it is important to
take initial profession education in order to get certificate and be able to pass the BLEPT - Board
Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers. And also she cited that it is ongoing process and
continues throughout a professional career’s.

P Professional begin their lives by taking the four-year course which can fulfill to the first
element is the initial Professional Education.

R Regulatory body like Commission on Higher Education ensure that graduates from
accredited programs start their professional lives with the knowledge to perform
effectively is assured by accreditation.

O One of the most important thing in teaching is to ensure the skills and capabilities to
develop their professional careers.
