iii. Explain your research goals - what did you want to discover
through the blind taste test and your survey
How is perfume valued?
i. Summarize your findings in a brief paragraph and report on
your conclusions. What did you discover from your
research?

Observations:
Here are my observations of the experiment. Versace was the most
liked and valued (3/3 in best smell, and valuable), while Polo was the
opposite, least liked, and valued (0/3 in best smell, 3/3 in cheapest).
This matches the value and popularity of these perfumes for the most
part, as versace is a brand far more valued than Polo, and out of all
these brands of perfumes, Polo is the cheapest, least valued, and least
popular. However it is odd that Dior was recognized enough, despite
being more valued then Polo , and on the same spectrum as versace, it
was also the only Eau De Parfum ( many didn't even recognize this, and
it only got ⅓ when the participants were asked which one was Eau du
perfume., I feel like this proves that Versace, or women perfume is more
appealing towards males, as ⅔ participants were male, and 3/3 of the
participants choose versace, majority of them being male. There was
also the fact that most of the contestants, (⅔) were not able to regonize
the tell the difference, but still preferred Versace. I got the answer to the
question I wanted from this observation: How is perfume valued? I feel
from the factual evidence I have, Perfume is not only valued by
attraction and smell, as the Versace Perfume for womens was popular
for all the participants (2/3 being Male), but also the brand itself,
because Versace was indeed the most valued among all the perfume in
the test, and it was also the most popular (3/3 in terms of value and best
perfume).

Conclusion: Perfume is valued by the brand, and the smell
