1. OBJECTIVE
Documenting the Film Screening Process.

2. SCOPE
Applies to the Film Screening Process of Cinépolis Mexico.

3. RESPONSIBILITIES
3.1 From the Manager:
To ensure the programming of the Movies that will be in Cinépolis.

3.2 From the Supervisor:


Verify that the Forms are filled out correctly by the operators and that the operator and that
the operator performs his/her duties in a proper way. properly.

6. DEFINITIONS

6.1 Cineminutos: This is the name given to all advertising outside Cinépolis that enters at
the beginning of the projection.

6.2 Module: It is the one that determines the speed at which the film tape is fed to the
projector and the feeding of the plate system to rewind the film.

6.3 Sprockets: It is a metallic roller that has the function of giving passage to the filmic tape
through the projector, to guide the tape so that it does not deviate from its correct passage
and is not damaged.

6.4 Magnetic Drums: These are used to press the tape so that the sound reader has a view
of all the sound characters and can read them accurately.

6.5 Star: It is a transparent tape that is used in the control of all edited film, which serves to
begin to mount tape in the projector and not to damage the tape of 35 mm with images to
project, it must measure at least 7 meters and it is also used to square an image in the
projector.

6.6 Cue: It is a metallic tape that is used to send an instruction to the projector for its
automation in some change, either of image, light and sound.

6.7 Trailer: This is the name given to all short films that are soon to be released in theaters.

6.8 Rewind: It is to return the film tape to its normal state after passing through the projector
and ready to be projected again in the projector.

6.9 Credits: This is the recognition given to all the collaborators in the course of the
collaborators during the filming of the film.

7. DEVELOPMENT
7.1 Operator: First place the module on the plate on which the edited film is placed. Remove
the editing ring from the center of the edited film and place it on another plate. Start passing
the star material between the module, and between the different platen rollers. From the last
platen roller, it is now passed to the first projector roller. It is passed through the different
rollers, sprockets and magnetic sound detection drums. From the last projector roller the
tape is passed through the cues detector. From the cues detector it is passed through the
last roller which is used as a link between the projector and the decks. The star is passed
over all the platen rollers to receive the tape and start rewinding. The star is rotated 2 times
over the ring that was removed from the film to rewind. The programming of the change of
lights, sound and image formats is done.
7.2 Operator and supervisor:
 Verify the start of the projection on time with FBIF05-01.
 Verify the image in each process (Cineminutes, Trailer and Movie) with FBCL05 02.
 Check the mismatches between each material junction with FBSF05-03.
 Check the illumination level in each process.
 (Cineminutes, Trailer and Movie) with FBSF05-03.
 Check audio levels with FBCF04-04.

7.3 Operator and supervisor:


 Check the illumination level of the credits with FBSF05-03.
 Do point 7.1 with FBCF04-04.
