The term "Arts and Crafts" refers to a broader social

movement that encompasses not just architecture,
but also interior design, textiles, fine art, and more.

QUICK HISTORY
As a response to the dehumanizing impacts of the
industrial revolution, the Arts and Crafts movement got
its start in England in the middle of the 19th century. It
brought life back to an era before technology took the
role of craftsmen. It embraced a variety of artistic
mediums and had philosophical foundations as opposed
to architectural ones.
