PACKAGE PROPOSAL
This manual explains the package, printing costs, fonts, colors, images
and messaging to solidify the brand for the Adventure Bar and the
Protein Pop.

This guides serves as a resource to bring together visual, stylistic and

messaging elements.

INTRODUCTION AND PURPOSE
The students at LWTech developed 2 protein bars.

The first product is the “Adventure Bar”. The Adventure Bar is a dense
protein packed energy bar who’s purpose is to provide a boost for ac-
tive adults who go on long day-hikes and have limited space for equip-
ment and food. This product is marketed to the
individuals who love the outdoors and love nature. Their activities
might include mountain biking, skiing, back country hiking, and moun-
tain climbing. The goal is to package this product and sell it in the
LWTech bookstore.

The second product is the “Protein Pop”. This product contains 2 balls
connected with a stick in the form of a “dumbbell”. Using the product
involves a 2-step process. One “pop” is used before a workout and the
second “pop” is used after a workout. This a lighter product than the
adventure bar and includes only 5 ingredients. The objective is to pro-
vide a lighter protein boost before a workout and a second boost after
it concludes. This product is marketed to younger individuals who are
active and work out on a regular basis. This product will be sold exclu-
sively the bakery window at LWTech.

This document contains the packaging proposal for the Adventure Bar,
the bakery window cards for Protein Pop and Adventure Bar, A poster
advertising availability, and printing estimates.

BRAND COLORS
The LWTech protein bar has four brand colors.

There is one Primary Tan and one Secondary Brown.

The other colors are used to accent elements in the Primary Black
design.

packaging, bakery cards, and poster
advertisements.

PACKAGE MOCKUP
The Adventure Bar is printed in a gloss laminate
stock in full color. The design includes a tear notch
and a hang hole.

An 8” hand sealer will be required to seal the

contents on site at LWTech. This proposed sealer will
both seal and cut the packages individually.

The bakery cards are printed in full color on a card
stock. These are to be used n the bakery window
to mark each individual item. The measurements
are 7.5” x 4.6”. They can be printed 2 per card and
trimmed to size.

PRINTING ESTIMATE
The proposed printer for the Adventure Bar is
Roaster. This is an online printer that can produce
minimum runs of 1000 units with a lead time of
only 10-15 days. Each package in full color will cost
aproximately $.50 per unit. The bags are shipped
with one open end to allow for individual
packaging and sealing on site.

An additional sealer unit will need to be purchased

to enable cullinary students to package the
product and seal after baking. The sealer will only
need to be purchased once.
