CHAPTER 1 : Introduction

This research study aims to gather data from 30 households around the researchers
community. The study was conducted in the municipality of Nueva Valencia. It is a
fourth-class municipality with a total of 22 barangay, of which 14 are on the coast, 6
are inland, and 2 are islands.

The Province of Guimaras, Nueva Valencia, is a municipality with a total land area of
13,712 hectares. A major fishing ground and the Province's tourism hub, it is home
to a number of white sand beaches, affordable cottages, expansive corridors, and
abundant fisheries.

This municipality shares borders with the Municipality of Sibunag to the north, the
Iloilo Strait to the south and east, and the Guimaras Strait to the west. About six
nautical miles to the southeast of Panay is where it is located. It is situated between
10 31' 40.63" North Latitude and 122 32' 18.52" Longitude.
CHAPTER 2: Gathering of data

CHAPTER 4: Analysis of data and Conclusion

From the data obtained from your computation, make your observation and analysis
as follows:

1. What is your observation on the mean that you have computed?

- Based on the computation, the mean of the data can be obtained by adding all the values in
the given set of data, which the sum is 175.Divide the sum that has been computed(175) to
the total number of the set of data(30).The computed mean of this set of data is 5.83.

2. What is your observation on the median that you have computed?

-In this set of data there is no middle value because the sum of the values is even(30).To be
able to get the median, add the 15th and 16th term and divide it by 2.Based on the
computation, the median of the data set is 4.5.

3. What is your observation on the mode that you have computed?

-To be able to get the mode of the set of data, simply put the most repeated number with
highest frequency. The mode of the data set is 4.

4. What is your observation on the range that you have computed?

-The range of the set of data can be computed by subtracting the highest value (13) to the
lowest value (2).The computed range of the data is 11.

Conclusion:

Statistics is a scientific method of analyzing numerical data to allow for the best
possible interpretation, understanding, and application. Thus, statistics aids in the
transformation of data into information—that is, data that have been interpreted,
understood, and are beneficial to the recipient.
