Daedalus Planned to Escape Crete

Daedalus planned to escape from the island of Crete by inventing wings that would allow him
and his son to fly so they could cross the sea.

strategy was carefully thought out and really smart, even though his son died.

1. Agree, He doesn't let go of grudges, he is vindictive, and he doesn't know how to forgive. When he
was angry at Daedalus, he also punished his innocent son Icarus by sending them both to the labyrinth,
which resulted in his son's death.

As a punishment for helping Theseus, King Minos imprisoned Deadalus and Icarus in the Labyrinth.

My Personal Challenges

Icarus I do not often listen to my parents, which causes me to


miss out on many possibilities in life.
He died because he did not heed his father's advise.

Daedalus My mental health has suffered as a result of my


insecurity.
He murdered someone because he was envious. Your terrible behaviors or decisions will land you in the
worst possible predicament.

1.I do not often heed to my parents' counsel, and I have a lot of insecurities. Ignoring counsel and being
envious might get you into problems.

2. Because of the countless discoveries from the past, some mythology is disclosed in the process as
well. Because myth contains many things, customs, ways, and the path of a person's character, it is
usually replicated in real life. Our teachings served as our teachers, and our teachers served as our
guides.

What I Can Do

1. Abuse of power - Be aware of your feelings of power, Practice humility, Stay focused on others, and
give, Practice respect, Change the psychological context of powerlessness in your thoughts.

3. Envy - replace envy with compassion, tet envy fuel self-improvement, don't forget to count your own
blessings.

My journey through this lesson enabled me to learn something very important in life, that we
should listen and follow. It made me realize that listening wont get you in trouble especially if its really
for your own good. I, therefore, commit to always listen to the people who have a lot of experiences in
life than me or more knowledgable than me.
