 Brief description of Ha Long
Ha Long is a city in Quang Ninh
province, 170km east of the center
of Hanoi. The name of this city is
named after Ha Long Bay - an
extremely green bay with
magnificent caves on the west coast
of the Gulf of Tonkin of our
country. This is also a place
recognized by UNESCO as a world
natural heritage!

With domestic tourism in the country, Ha Long is a shining name on the S-map.
This is considered one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in our country
with extremely majestic and poetic landscapes. That's why people often call this
place a tourist paradise. Because of its hotness, Ha Long attracts countless
tourists every year. Tourist activities here have become extremely developed and

 Famous bays and islands in Ha Long
Halong bay
Hạ Long Bay, in northeast Vietnam, is known for
its emerald waters and thousands of towering
limestone islands topped by rainforests. Junk boat
tours and sea kayak expeditions take visitors past
islands named for their shapes, including Stone
Dog and Teapot islets. The region is popular for
scuba diving, rock climbing and hiking,
particularly in mountainous Cát Bà National Park. Halong bay

Reu Island lies just 500m from the tourist
boats wharf. The Hoàng Gia International
Joint Venture is implementing a project to
turn the island into a resort complex with
many kinds of services. At present, the
island has a lot species of animals,

Dragon Eye Island Halong Bay
Dragon Eye island is located on the southern of Ha Long – Bai Tu Long Bay border.
There is a natural white sand beach, stretching 3, 4 hundred meters and especially the
unique landscape of a beautiful circular shape in the middle of the island.

It is used to make various nutritious and
appetizing dishes such as grill, boil, fry with
vegetables and ... make Halong wine.

3. Horseshoe Crab (Sam)
Sam's meat can be processed to be different
dishes like pudding crab, sweet and sour crab
legs, crab fried with egg, stir-fried crab with
glass noodle, etc. The endless recipes of
horseshoe crab is always awaiting visitors in
Halong, it is more delicious and fresher tha

4. Sa sung
This kind of food is extremely expensive due to the
place to catch them. They are only found in Quan
Lan Island. It is about 4 millions dong for each
kilogram of sa sung.
Sa sung can be fried with garlic or eaten with chilli
sauce and beer. Halong people also dry them and
after that, toast until they are cooked.

5. Gat gu cake
Made from steaming rice flour mixture, gat
gu cake can be enjoy with a special sauce.
The feeling off cool, soft cake and juicy pork

5:00. Bus and guide will pick you up at
the meeting point and depart to Ha long
(Hanoi – Ha long 170 km about 2.5
hours)
7:30 am: Arrival at Ha long,
enjoy breakfast at a local

8:00 The bus will take visitors to start a
walking journey for about 3 hours to
visit famous places in Ha Long city
such as Sun World Halong Complex,
Bai Tho Mountain’s Peak,etc , Quang
Ninh Museum & Library, and Bai Chay
