Having a healthy diet means eating a range of foods in the right balance. You should
consume five main food groups with the right proportion for one day, including drinks and snacks.
Stick to these guidelines, don’t skip breakfast, do drink a lot of water, and you’ll be well on your way
to have a balanced diet. Here are the tips to have a balanced diet.

First, consume the right amount of starchy foods. This group includes bread, rice,
potatoes, and pasta and should be the basis of your meal. Make up one third od your diet. These
foods are good sources for energy and contain many vital nutrients, such as calcium, fiber, and B
vitamins. Whole grain varieties are best because they are rich in fiber which helps digestion.

Second, eat sufficient fruits and vegetables. These foods are full of vitamins and
minerals. But they are naturally low in fat. They should form one third of what you eat each day and
you should try to eat a mixture of different fruit and vegetables to get the full range of nutrients that
your body requires.

Third, grab a full of non dietary fiber. Meat, egg, fish, beans, and lentils are all sources of
protein. They are essentials nutrients, that the body uses to make a new cells, and repair tissues. You
don’t need that much protein in rich food . Eat lean cuts of meat and remove the visible fat. Try to
eat two portions of fish per week.

Next, get high fiber sugar foods. Fast help digestion and contain vital fatty acids while
sugar provides energy. However, we need only very small amount. Eating too much leads to weight
gain. Many foods in the other groups contain fats and sugar, so high-fat sugar like chips, candy, and
soda should be eaten only as a treat.

Last, have milk and dairy products. These foods contain protein, vitamin, and calcium.
However, some of them, such as butter, chees, and cream , can be very high in fat. Make sure you
don’t eat or try to choose lower-fat variety.

The refrigerator is one of the most important areas to focus on when you are cleaning
your kitchen. Housing both raw and cooked foods as well as drinks and condiments. It’s vital that the
appliance is kept clean and hygienic to reduce the risk of food poisoning. However, cleaning the
refrigerator is not quite as straightforward as cleaning the other areas of the kitchen., and certain
products shouldn’t be used to clean the fridge.

Once you have all your kitchen cleaning products to hand (remember: no disinfectant). It
is the time to consider how to tackle the refrigerator. Here a few handy methods.

8
1. It may seem obvious, but remove all food before starting. Even if you’re only using
natural products, you don’t want to be reaching around objects. Having an empty fridge
makes the process so much easier and remove the possibility of contamination

2. Take out all removable parts, such as shelves and drawers. Fill a basin with warm water
and regular dishwashing soap and leave these parts to soak before wiping and rising.

3. Wipe all surface areas either with commercial wipes, or with a combination of
dishwashing soap and warm water. Use a microfiber cloth or a good quality sponge.
These cleaning tools will not fall apart and leave little particles behind in the fridge.

4. For stubborn stains, mix a small amount of baking soda with a little water to produce a
thick paste. Apply the paste to the stain and leave for an hour before wiping with a
damp sponge or cloth. The baking soda should loosen the stain, making it easy to wipe
away.

Meanwhile to reduce the hassle when kitchen-cleaning time rolls around, there are a
number of quick and easy ways to maintain the cleanliness of your refrigerator on a day
to day basis.

 Be sure to regularly check through the products in the refrigerator and throw
anything that out of the date. Mouldy foods can contaminate other items , so
bin them

 Clean up any spills as soon as possible. Spills can drip onto other foods, and can
cause bad smells-especially if a bottle of milk leaks.

 Keep a small plastic box filled with baking soda at the bottom of your fridge. This
baking soda will absorb any strong odors.
