A.
1. A “global citizen” is someone who identifies with being part of an emerging world
community and whose actions contribute to building this community’s values and
practices.
2. Its basic assumptions are that there is such a thing as an emerging world community
with which people can identify of which has a nascent set of values and practices.
3. The foremost challenge that we face in the new millennium is to embrace our global
way of being and build a sustainable values-based world community.
4. The world leaders have been advocating for community values which include human
rights, environmental protection, religious pluralism, gender equity, sustainable
worldwide economic growth, poverty alleviation, and prevention conflicts between
countries, elimination of weapons of mass destruction, humanitarian assistance and
preservation of cultural diversity.
5. Global citizenship entails advocating at the local and global level form policy and
programmatic solutions that address global problems ; participating in the
decision-making process of global governance organizations ; adopting and contributing
to world-wide humanitarian relief efforts ; and organizing events that celebrate the
diversity in world music and art.
6. For me, being a global citizen is realizing that there is much more to this world that
our country. That we should not only think about our own country, but the greater world
as a whole. I can play my role of being a global citizen by firstly opening up my closed
minded perspective of the world, and embrace the world with my arms.
B.
A global citizen is someone who is aware of and understands the wider world – and
their place in it. They take an active role in their community and work with others to
make our planet more peaceful, sustainable and fairer.

COVID-19 is caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. COVID-19 can cause mild to severe
respiratory illness, including death. The best preventive measures include getting
vaccinated, wearing a mask during times of high transmission, staying 6 feet apart,
washing hands often and avoiding sick people.

1. Citations are extremely helpful to anyone who wants to find out more about your
ideas and where they came from.
2. Not all sources are good or right -- your own ideas may often be more accurate or
interesting than those of your sources. Proper citation will keep you from taking the rap
for someone else's bad ideas.
3. Citing sources strengthen your work by lending outside support to your ideas.

Yes, I consider myself as a global citizen. It is due to the fact that I have always been
curious of the world around me, about the world beyond our country. I have always
dreamt of a world that is unified as one, with one government, all of humanity unified
living as one in spite of the diversity among us. For that type of world to usher in, I must
adopt a mentality of open-mindedness and good attitude towards other peoples. I have
interacted with many people across the globe, I have even joined an international
debate about world issues by the United Nations. And I already have that type of
mentality, so to answer the question, yes I consider myself a global citizen.
