MAMSER, PUTOL-PUTOL PO KAYO: Dismantling the

Correlative Urgency of Robot Teachers into the Human Academic

Field
“Humanity is currently a workless society.”
With the sustained importance of technology and scholastic advancements, everything is less
settled for the apt stagnancy of the human race. Working with the standards equal to their
dignity, the question whether the robot being as the new ‘Average Joe’ is still as alarming as to
what we can call to the ‘near end of humanity’ – hence, dismantling the essence of robot teachers
will draw a thin line of distinguishable fulfillments between us, humans, and the folks of this
technological community.
Robots had become the mere assistant of various institutions in the course of daily basis –
especially, in education. They are expected to furnish school activities, applying adjustments in
measurable environments that we, humans, could also adapt to. For some instances, robots could
be more productive than human teachers and urge skills that are competitive for the alleviating
growth against academic challenges. Humans thereof became desolate of practical work and
robots, on the other hand, became the quality of education’s constant production.

ABC of AI: Employing Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Field of Education

Artificial Intelligence (AI) acquires demands from students to obtain and offer works
consistently. It has the enough potential to work throughout the day without experiencing
fatigue. Its features contribute for the better experience of user experience and empower the
studentry through modalities that are efficient to use. Considering the scope of human
limitations, robot teachers, may not be as perfect as it may be, yet upholds utilization that can be
helpful for the students.

Sana All Consistent and Improving

“Robot teachers are able to deliver the same service at the same standard every time a student
watches a lecture, takes a test or reads a text online.” (Isanov, 2016) It answers feedbacks
immediate to its resolution. The underlying facet of AI is its automated assistance convenient to
the hassle backlogs of teachers and students. Moreover, it allows data storage and reinforcement
of safer data privacy against threats that might malign the academic freedom of the institution.

“Love thy Neighbor,” the Robot Teacher said

“Robot teachers treat all students similarly and do not discriminate them in any way, hence they
eliminate any potential discrimination lawsuits against the respective educational institution
with all their negative legal, financial and publicity effects.” (Isanov, 2016) In Layman’s term,
robots do not grasp its own insights. They are still a lifeless and humanity-scarce entities that are
employed for our convenience. The bigotry does not seem to exist in them – unless implanted
into their system. They are equally appreciative and assess each academic performance without
condemnation and pre-occupied intolerance.
Robot teachers can also be an escape for employers who might get annoyed to the constant
clamor or petitions initiated by the teachers. From the moment that they need extra wages and
extensions of papers, the human teachers are always firm to what they can do effectively. They
do what they want and censure the injustices professionally.

But the last teacher standing should be a human!

It is indeed that human teachers should “provide always the same level of service to all
customers because their performance depends on their emotional, health and psychological
conditions.”
It is indeed that human teachers could just provide a few courses available in their capacity.
It is indeed that a “robot does not complain about salary, working conditions, job activities, work
load, performance standards, motivation, appraisal, paid and sick leave, etc.” unlike teachers.
But teachers could also be human. For humans humanize humans.
Human teachers implore more interaction to students, they can process their thoughts into wat
that could be engaging to students. Furthermore, it opens a platform of possibilities form which
human teachers should employ towards quality education.
They welcome students to treat school as a home. They cherish them. They uphold them. And
They care for them. Well, some teachers may be harsh, but the core of being a teacher does not
stop from being a lecturer inside the class. A teacher, in an academic field, views the world as a
continuous cycle of learning experience and that life teaches us perspective that chalks and board
cannot teach to us.
Human teachers and robot teachers relate to each other. No one is a substitution for one. They
are embedded to fill up one’s shortcomings and produce a product enraptured for the
development of the human race and the world. For education is not a motionless vision, but a
yearning for the sustainment of human development and technological advancements.
