Purpose and Context

The JBER CMF has four storage facilities that are geographically separated by approximately
30 minutes apart. Each facility contains supplies to utilize in the main facility of work. The
purpose of this project is to consolidate all supplies into one aggregated location utilizing
company’s largest facility closest to their regular work site. Aggregation to one facility will
reduce transportation time when resupplying the active work site, reduce time needed to locate
necessary materials for job execution, and streamline monthly inventory processes. Successful
completion will also reduce company’s physical footprint in local area and save company costs
in leased rental space.

Phases or Timeline

Phase 1: Identification/consolidation of all supplies/assets (21 Sep – 1 Oct)

Phase 2: Coordinate outsourcing support/order shelving (1 Oct – 1 Nov)
Phase 3: Install shelving/organize supplies/assets (5 Nov – 1 Dec)
Phase 4: Finalized facility layout/break leases of unused facilities (1 - 17 Dec)
