Methodology

Materials:

The researchers will need the following materials to conduct the study:

 Blind Stick

 Micro Vibration Motor

 Arduino Nano

 433MHz RF transmitter and receiver

 Ultrasonic Sensor HC-SR04

 GPS

 9V Battery

Conceptual Framework

Procedure

Gathering of Materials

Gather all the materials needed. Prepare the Micro Vibration Motor, Arduino

Nano, 433MHz RF transmitter and receiver, Ultrasonic Sensor HC-SR04, and the GPS.

Button

The button needs Arduino Nano which is the motherboard of the blind stick that is

used to run the program of the product.

Power Source (9V Battery)

The Power Source (9V Battery) uses a button which the blind person should click,

then the Ultrasonic Sensor will be able to detect the obstacle and the RF Transmitter will

be the one to give signal to the Micro Vibration Motor to vibrate when the blind stick

detects an obstacle.

Micro Vibration Motor

Micro Vibration Motor consists 3 parts: Arduino Nano which requires power

source (9V Battery), 433MHz RZ transmitter and receiver, and ultrasonic Sensor HC-

SR04 for it to function. This will be the one to allow the handle to vibrate once the

ultrasonic sensor detects an obstacle.

Arduino Nano

The Arduino Nano includes the program needed to run the micro vibration motor.

GPS Module

This will allow the Arduino to get the exact location, date and time, and speed of

the user.

GSM Module

This material will be the one to allow the message to be sent to the family of the

user of the stick.
