2  Handling of radiography camera  Fall of materials  Only qualified person shall handle the camera.
& Source Radiation  No person shall sit on the box carrying the camera with radiography source.
 Camera shall be handled properly with care.
 No person shall stand near the source un-necessarily.
 Proper handling tools & accessories shall be used for safe handling of source.
 The radiographer shall wear TLD badge while handling radioactive source.
 Check the radiation level with survey meter at the periphery of barricaded
area.
3  Radiography  Chances of radiation effect to the person  Work permit to be obtained before start the job.
All persons at site inform and remove from the working area.
RT zone area to be barricaded with rope and chords.
Radiographer shall have valid license that shall be approved by BARC.
Warning sign boards and posters shall to be displayed at site.
 No person shall be allowed to enter into RT zone area.
 A stand by person shall be used for proper communications.
 Ensure TLD badge should be sent to BARC every month to check whether a
person has suffered a radiation overdose more than that prescribed by BARC.
