UNIT PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION
To acquire skills of managing rate of change computing systems and developing algorithms ie ecliptic curve
algorithm used in encryption and decryption
EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES
Expected learning outcomes

1. To introduce students to basic concepts of differential calculus


2. To recognize and describe the characteristics of functions expressed algebraically or graphically
3. To determine if a given function has a limit, is continuous, and is differentiable at a certain point or interval
4. To apply the rules and techniques of differentiation
5. To use the derivative and relevant notions to analyze variations in functions and sketch their graphs
