Attendance Policy:
Attendance is mandatory. A student whose absence reaches 10% (6 hours) of the
total hours allocated for the course will receive a first warning, and if the percentage
reaches 15% (9 hours), he will receive a second warning. But if the student's absence
rate reaches 20% (12 hours or more), he will be deprived of the course according to
the university's regulations.

Fraud and scientific and literary theft:

Students should do their homework on their own. They are allowed to work in a team
if requested by the teacher. In other words, students are encouraged to communicate
about the general principles of the course, but all homework must be done on an
individual basis. The teacher is always ready to provide any assistance the students
need. The University considers cheating a serious offense and all students should be
aware of the severe punishment for cheating (please refer to the Student Conduct
Regulations published in the University Catalog) .

General Notes:
Distribution of course grades:
- Exams will be held according to the closed book method In other words, not all
exams are combined with any auxiliary tools at all .
- - examinations are not available at all...except: in very special circumstances, after
the approval of the administration, and according to a method different from the one
agreed upon during the semester.
- Regarding the final exam , it will be a comprehensive written exam for all that was
covered in the entire semester.
- Regarding the student’s final grade, it will be calculated in aggregate from: The
result of his work during the semester in addition to the result of the final exam .
- Therefore , the final grade will be subject to each student (e) separately according
to the distribution shown in the following table:

A 90-100
B+ 85-89
B 80-84
C+ 75-79
C 70-74
D+ 65-69
D 60-64
F Less than 60

Blackboard program resources

and understanding of terminology and methodologies used in the classroom and
throughout the semester.

Youtube video sources:

A set of targeted videos will be used in this course and shown to students during the
semester.

Rules that must be adhered to:

- Students must assume their responsibilities in learning and ask the lecturer
whenever necessary and by any means: ( in the lecture , during office hours , via e
-mail ) . Note that during the final exams period, there are no office hours or make-
up exercises , and questions will be answered via e-mail only .
- Student attendance is a critical issue of great importance to the success of the
course, and here the university’s policy on attendance will be implemented The
lectures are strictly as mentioned above.
- Students who fail to do their homework beyond the time allotted to them will be
punished.
- Students are expected to keep a copy of the assignments submitted in their
records as references for later use.
- In the event of absence (even with an excuse ) , the student ( E ) is responsible for
collecting all the information discussed in the absent lecture .
- Mobile devices should be in silent mode during the lecture , and it is better to turn
them off completely.
- It is not allowed in any way to have mobile devices or smart devices with the student
( e ) in the various exams , even if they are closed.
- Communication with other students during the exam period is considered a form of
cheating, the perpetrator of which is punished by obtaining an evaluation ( fail ) . In
this regard, other tools can be used according to the rules and laws of the university.
- exam must be attended regardless of the student’s grades and evaluation during the
semester .

Ratings:
The directions and information on assessments will be presented by the lecturer in
the classroom and on the Blackboard program at the specified time to be a reference
available to all students of the course. The following is a detailed description of the
various course assessments:

Class work and exams:

- Evaluative exercises:
They are specific exercises specific to the course determined by the lecturer In
agreement with the students. 10 degrees
- Integration into the lecture hall and participation:
6
Students are expected: 5 marks
- Commitment to attend
- Perform all required tasks
- Demonstrate a great deal of responsibility and accuracy
- Maintaining the team spirit in all circumstances
- Continuous positive behaviour.

Joint projects:
- The team's first project ( viewpoint ) :
Initially, the students of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship course are required
to commit to a team guarantor, and work to create a statement from their point of
view about a particular innovative idea and come up with a convincing prototype .
The design thinking skills learned by the student ( e ) will be applied to determine
the specific point of suffering ( need ) for customers/clients or employees or both.
It is an integrated initial project for the joint team, the output is a private idea with
its model available from the team's point of view.
The activities in this project are based on arranging students into balanced teams
and searching for innovative ideas from all possible sources, including interviewing
an entrepreneur from their community. This entrepreneur can represent: a non-
profit or commercial organization, and can work in a variety of sectors:
manufacturing, retail, services...etc. Here, the students must schedule the
completion of the various stages of this project over a period of two weeks. On the
specified date, each team presents its entire project to the lecturer in printed form.
Perhaps the most important criteria used in evaluating this project:
- concept and vision
- The entrance to innovation
- Indicate the degree of need by the end user and the possibility of
implementation
- Tools used by the team such as similar forms, images, advertisements,
videos , etc.
- Apply calibration by coming up with a tangible physical prototype of the idea.
This project involves 25 overall grades for the course.

- The team's second project ( action plan ) :

The Opportunity Analysis ( OAP ) project allows students to benefit and apply
many of the tools and techniques learned in the course in practical life through
various scenarios. By presenting this work as a project guarantor, each team
should develop an innovative idea Clarify them using the concepts studied for the
course during the semester. Here, each team will individually convince the
audience ( the lecturer and the rest of the students in the class ) of the feasibility of
their idea, which represents a real opportunity and can be converted into viable
and successful outcomes. Each team will present:

7
- A comprehensive written project ( with drawings, figures, and photos ) To
lecture about the rationale for your idea from customers and inform you by
contacting users, customers and partners as possible
- A PowerPoint presentation that can be discussed and evaluated in front of
everyone at the end of the chapter ( the presentation must be sent to the lecturer
mentioned on the second page )
Therefore, among the most important criteria for judging the project:
- Organization and Structure
- vision and opportunity
- Marketing strategy and implementation
- Risks and Mitigation Tools
- financial plan
- Commitment to formalities. The degree of this project with the width is 30
degrees.

As a tribute to outstanding entrepreneurial projects, there is a good chance that

the teams' excellent projects will be given the opportunity to participate in the
College of Business Administration's Innovation Week and in the general
university business week.

final exam:
For this last assessment, all students without exception will take a comprehensive
and final written test that often includes 4 balanced question forms: Multiple Choice
( MCQ ), Short Answers, Essays, and Case Study, according to university standards.
Here, in the first place, the extent of students' understanding and awareness of all the
topics covered in the course will be tested. The final exam grade is 30 .
