MARKETING STRATEGY

Gucci’s strategy to be the hottest brand is to promote inclusivity: appealing to everyone, rather
than a specific gender. To that end, the Italian luxury house offers its customers more ready-to-
wear to best capitalize on fashion trends.

Gucci balances its assortment by dividing its offerings:

01 40% trend-oriented articles and 60% classic styles.

Gucci is part of the group of brands spearheading sustainable

02 fashion. It would be beneficial for the Italian brand to highlight this
effort to boost its image as an eco-conscious company.
How they
compete.

Gucci is so expensive thanks to the brand’s rich heritage and smart business strategy. The
Italian brand combines unique elements of design and clever marketing to create consumer
desire and high demand. But, there’s much more than that…
Gucci is a brand that instantly evokes a sense of prestige, status, and desirability.
Nowadays, Gucci is perceived as a brand name that confers the wearer with instant social
status.
