INSTRUCTION. In these lessons, you learned this necessity is the mother of invention and
innovations. Inventions are not simply made but are motivated by various context. In this task, you
will address this question: IF you were an inventor, what would you invent?

*In thinking about the invention, make sure that you come up with one that has not been invented
yet, but it is possible to be invented in the near future. Sketch a draft of your inventions then
answer the questions that follow.
QUESTIONS

1. What is your invention? What does it do?

 My invention is penlight watch as I observed no one has invented penlight watch so this is what
I thought of inventing, since nursing is my course, I want to improve the one of the equipment of
nursing so that it will easier for their work. This penlight watch can do is you don’t have to bring
another watch because it has a watch that connected to it. Always show you the display.

2. How is your invention similar to or different from existing tools or technologies in terms of
functions?

 My invention has similarities with other existing tools invented by technologies like push
buttons or turn on/off, led bulb metal pocket clip, and others , and that’s the same identical parts
that I invented, and the difference between them in terms of function it has clock connected to
the penlight and its automatically you can fold it because that is a rubber penlight watch to
make it as watch if you want, and if you want to use it as penlight straighten the strap of watch
for it to work because it won`t work if you can`t straighten because on that strap there is have an
connectivity to push buttons of penlight.

3. Why is there a need for this invention? How will this invention make the worked a better place to
live in?

 Why is there a need for this invention? It is because to make what we do easier, make our task
easier effectively, and it will be easier for you to work with it, because after you used it to assess
your patients you don’t have to put it anywhere you can wear it directly as watch, and it is
commonly used it to assess the patients and to check such as their ear, eyes and mouth using
penlight.
