Downtown Logistics is a Business Solution app catering to the Unorganized Businesses Market
(Especially family-owned Businesses and MSME’s). Downtown basically provides intra city
logistics of heavy goods for these unorganized businesses at an affordable pricing and at an
efficient time. We at Downtown use the hub and spoke model for the delivery which is basically
used in the aviation industry by low-cost airlines brought into play by Indigo Airlines. We also
provide a Networking software so as to create a community of those businesses and help them
network with each other and increase Business.

PROBLEM STATEMENT
• Unorganized Businesses (especially Family-owned businesses and Small scale
Businesses) face huge intra city logistics issue
• Pickup Van Drivers and e-rickshaws charge heftily for a single delivery
• They can’t trust the pickup drivers and also sometimes the goods the damaged during
the delivery.
• Other competitor like City link only provides full load truck services
• Problems for small inter-city logistics against competitors like Gati coming in which
provides end to end logistics.

SOLUTION
• Downtown is a mobile app available in Iphone and Android that will help in intra city
logistics for these small businesses through pickup vans using the multi delivery system
through the hub and spoke model at lower charges and within the time as entered by
the business owner.
• Also Downtown is an app wherein small businesses can network with other small
businesses in the city. Basically, Downtown is one stop platform for small businesses
that will help them with logistics and building a community of local businesses in the
area.
