At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:

IV.PROCEDURES
A. Reviewing previous lesson or ENERGIZER “Basketball Trivia”
presenting the new lesson -This activity express what concept that the students know about solving
equation.
-The students will write their answer on their activity notebook.
-To identify the trivia, the students will work out the answer to each
equation.
-Once the students have answered the equation, that is the time for the
students to look for the matching letter in the table provided below and fill in
the blanks.

In this phase, let the students recall the concepts and insights gained in the
previous lesson and engage theirselves in the next activity to assess their
learning.

(RECAPITULATION)
Activity 1 “Fact or Bluff”
The teacher will post each questions on the screen, write FACT if the
statement is true and write BLUFF if the statement is wrong.
B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson In this portion, the objectives will be introduced.

At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:

C. Presenting examples/instances of the Activity 1: Text Twister
new lesson The teacher will let the students arrange the letters in each item to form the
word.

new skills # 1 basketball and their Execution that a player must learn. These are dribbling,
rebounding, running, shooting and passing. In order to know more about
these skills and how they are executed.

To solidify their understanding and skills of the topic, I will let the students
answer the following questions in the graphic organizer and supply the
answers in every question to show what they have learned.

I. Evaluating Learning After doing all the activities, I will let students to call their learning buddy

Activity 4: “One on One “


This activity aims to refine the basic skills in basketball namely: shooting,
dribbling, passing, rebounding and running. You will need the following in
this activity:

a. a basketball ball
c. a playing area with a ring and board
b. a partner
d. a good pair of playing shoes

Here are your tasks:


1. Withyour partner, do the pass-dribble-shoot.
2. Your partner will pass the ball to you, then you will dribble the ball and
shoot it and vice versa.
3. Your partner will prevent you from shooting the ball and so are you.
4. The player who has the highest points after a 10-minute play is the
winner.
5. Be reminded that before starting the activity, you must be in proper attire,
you have done warm-up exercises, and have reviewed safety precautions.
6. Video your performance if possible.
