Rationale and Description Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 242
entitled Declaring the Period from 05 September to 05
October of Every Year as "National Teachers' Month"
signed on August 24, 2011 by His Excellency President
Benigno S. Aquino Ill (Enclosure No. 1) and to the
designation of the World Teachers' Day every 5 th of
October by the United Nations Evaluation and Cultural
Organization (UNESCO), the Department of Education
(DepEd) will celebrate the National Teachers' Month
(NTM) throughout the month mof September starting
September 5, 2022 with the month-long activities to
culminate on October 5, which is the World Teachers'
Day (WTD). This year’s theme is “Gurong Filipino:
Dangal ng Sambayanang Pilipino.”
The activity aims also acknowledge and give

emphasis on the crucial role, loyal service and
dedicated commitment of teachers in developing
globallyminded citizens, nurturing families,
strengthening communities, and building the nation.
The WTD celebration shall ensure the
implementation of necessary health and safety protocols
as topmost priority which includes the required health
standards, social distancing measures and practicing
proper hygiene and other relevant protocols.
The teachers of Salvacion National High School

headed by Sir Ignacio P. Lasco Jr., in line with the
Department of Education’s core values of Maka-Diyos,
Makatao,Makakalikasan, at Maka-bansa, believe that
equal opportunity principles are expressions of
respect and honor to human dignity and are
foundation to a harmonious, peaceful and healthy
working environment. The Department of
Education, Davao del Norte shall adhere at all times
to the equal opportunity principles and shall not
tolerate any form of discrimination, biases,
prejudices and unfair treatment of individuals and
shall take necessary actions to curb, eliminate and
penalize any form of violation and offenses to equal,
equitable, and fair treatment of individuals. Thus all
teachers are given equal opportunities regardless of

Objectives To honor all those who are in the teaching profession.
Enabling Objective/s:
1. To acknowledge and give emphasis on the crucial

role, loyal service and dedicated commitment of
teachers in developing globally minded citizens,
nurturing families, strengthening communities,
and building the nation by giving simple yet
meaningful program.
2. To Express gratitude for the positive influences of
teachers on Filipino learners.
III.Methodologies and

1. The facilitator will introduce himself /herself to the

teachers.
2. The facilitator will group the teachers.
3. The facilitator will introduce the first activity.
4. The facilitator will introduce the next activity up to
the last activity.
5. The last hour there will a reflection of the activity.

IV.Assessment of Learning 1. The participants will submit their reflection as

his/her output.
2. The participants will submit the suggested group
activity based on the concerns identified in the
teachers conflict and concern.
V. Resource Package  The Technical Working Group(TWG) will prepare the
Stage decoration, Lap Top, Projector, microphone,
speaker, table and chairs for the activity.
 Each Group will also prepare their participants in
every competition.
