BE LCP TRANSITION PLAN

Training and Capacity Building

1. Training and Capacity Building Activities must be consistent with the School’s Plan for Professional Development (SPPD)
integrated in the SIP.

Training and Capacity Building Activities should be relevant and adequate for the respective school personnel ensuring
organizational effectiveness, efficiency and maintaining systems.

2. Identify the competency/ies that needs improvement from respective competency standard and tools like National
Competency-Based Teacher Standards (NCBTS) and NCBTS Teachers Strengths and Needs Assessment (NCBTS-
TSNA).

3. Suggested training or activity will be discussed and carefully planned by the program owner, planning team and
monitoring and evaluation officer.

4. Program owner will prepare training design that will be submitted to the division office for approval one month prior to the
implementation of the activity.

5. For the new normal setting, school training and capacity building activities could be done online or face to face following
the safety protocols.

6. The school’s monitoring and evaluation officer will be present during the planning, implementation and evaluation of the
activities and is the one to provide objective information that can inform decision-making for continuous improvement.
