ACTIVITY 1.1

The main reason why I want this gift is that

because of the size and weight of a laptop if there
was ever a robbery at your house a thief would not
think twice about stealing your laptop. If they saw
a large desktop computer on the other hand they
would, more than likely leave it as it is far to bulky
to be carrying about.

ACTIVITY 1.3

Topic of interest: Covid 19 possible title: The Covid 19 Vaccine

Reason:To know how vaccine are effective to humans

Qualitative Research Design to use: Case Study

ACTIVITY 1.4

ACTIVITY 1.6

1. Sampling yields significant if having a planned out sampling

method. However, with the differences that can be present
between a population and a sample, sample errors can occur.
Therefore, it is essential to use the most relevant and useful
sampling method.

2. Probability sampling gives you the best chance to create a sample

that is truly representative of the population. Using probability
sampling for finding sample sizes means that you can employ
statistical techniques like confidence intervals and margins of
error to validate your results.

3. There are two types of sampling methods: Probability sampling

involves random selection, allowing you to make strong statistical
inferences about the whole group. Non-probability sampling
involves non-random selection based on convenience or other
criteria, allowing you to easily collect data.

4. In non-probability sampling, the sample is selected based on non-

random criteria, and not every member of the population has a chance of being
included. Common non-probability sampling
methods include convenience sampling, voluntary response
sampling, purposive sampling, snowball sampling, and quota
sampling.
ACTIVITY 1.7

1. What you can do?

2. What are your weaknesses?
3. Why should I hire you?
4. Why do you want this job?
5. Tell me about yourself

ACTIVITY 1.8

1. In the activity that was given, I find it really helpful to me

mainly
because: The activity helped me apply my learnings about
the
lesson.
2. Interviews are most effective for qualitative research:
They help
you explain, better understand, and explore research
subjects'
opinions, behavior, experiences, phenomenon, etc.
Interview
questions are usually open-ended questions so that in-depth
information will be collected.
3. Using appropriate pitch and volume,Active listening
skills,Responsiveness,
ACTIVITY 1.9
1. An interview is a way of hearing out the
opinion of the interviewee, while the
observations are just focused on the gestures of
the interviewee.

2. The structured interview asks the same

questions of every interviewee, while the semi-
structured interview does not strictly follow an
official a list of questions.

3. The two are almost the same, but the

differences are that the interview asks individuals
while the focus group has informal conversations
that are held with 7 to 12 members to gather their
perspectives and opinions.

4. The group interview is commonly used in

business sectors, and the mediated interview is an
interview conducted via telephone, cellphone, or
other means.

5.Descriptive field notes simply describe the field

researcher's observations and do not contain
comments, while reflective field notes are an
introspective commentary of what you observe
and experience.
