VALUES EDUCATION THRUST; A CHALLENGE TO PHILIPPINE EDUCATION.

–Value education also helps the students to become more and more responsible and
sensible. It helps them to understand the perspective of life in a better way and lead a
successful life as a responsible citizen. It also helps students to develop a strong
relationship with family and friends.

2. Conceptual meaning of values..

–Values are individual beliefs that motivate people to act one way or another. They
serve as a guide for human behavior. Generally, people are predisposed to adopt the
values that they are raised with. People also tend to believe that those values are
“right” because they are the values of their particular culture.

3. Personal transformation needed..

–Personal Transformation is how we change aspects of who we are, what we do and
the life we lead. It is both the journey – 'I am transforming', and the destination – 'I am
transformed'. Engaging in Personal Transformation is a statement of positive intent.

–Value education is the process by which people give moral values to each other..
explicit values education is associated with those different pedagogies, methods or
programmes that teachers or educators use in order to create learning experiences for
students when it comes to value question.
