MIGRATION TO
MEDINA
  THE INDIVIDUAL MUSLIMS STARTED
HIJRAT.
 HAZRAT ABU BAKR SIDIQ(RA) WAS
STOPPED BY RASOOLULLAH(SAW) FROM
MIGRATING FOR THE TIME BEING

AFTER BAYT-E- UQBA-

SAANIYA
  Abu Salama(ra) With Wife And Kid.
 Wife And Kid Were Separated By
Relatives.Wife Taken By Her Parents And The
Kid By Abu Salma’s Relatives.Umme Salma
Kept Weeping For An Year Till She Was
Allowed To Take Her Child And Go To Her
Husband.
 Umme Salama Later Left Alone For Migration
But Was Soon Accompanied By Usman Bin Abi
Talha And Dropped At Quba

FIRST MUHAJIR
  Everyone Migrated Secretly Except Umar(ra)
 Did Tawaf Of Kaaba And Then Threatened
Quraish E Mecca To Stop Him .

HAZRAT UMAR(RA)’S
HIJRAT
  WE HAVE ALREADY LEARNT THAT HE WAS
CAPTURED BY ROMAN EMPIRE AND SOLD AS A
SLAVE TO MECCANS
 HOWEVER AFTER BECOMING FREE AND
ACCEPTING ISLAM HE HAD EARNED A LOT OF
WEALTH.
 MUSHRIKEEN E MECCA DID NOT ALLOW HIM
TO MIGRATE AND ASKED HIM TO CHOOSE
BETWEEN HIS WEALTH OR HIJRAT.
 HE LEFT ALL THE WEALTH TO QURAISH AND
MIGRATED.
 HAZOOR (Saw) ON HEARING THIS SAID
“RABIHA SUHAIB”- SUHAIB DID A PROFITABLE
DEAL

RUMI’S HIJRAT
 QURANIC AYAT WAS ALSO REVEALED
AYAH 207 SURAH BAQARAH-

 َ‫ض‬ َ ‫اس َمن يَ ْش ِرى نَ ْف‬

َ ‫سهَ ٱ ْب ِتغَا ٓ ََء َم ْر‬ َ ِ َّ‫ن ٱلن‬
ََ ‫َو ِم‬
ِ ‫ٱَّلل َرءوفَ ِب ْٱل‬
َِ ‫عبَاد‬
ِ ََّ ‫ٱَّللَِۗ َو‬
َّ ‫ت‬ َِ ‫ا‬
 And of the people is he who sells himself,
seeking means to the approval of Allah. And
Allah is kind to [His] servants.
  They saw that all the Companions had left for
Medinah, and understood that this city would be a
fort and protection for the Prophet (peace be upon
him) and his Companions. They also realized that if
the Prophet reached there, the city would become a
centre for the call from where Islam would spread
throughout the Arabian Penninsula. If this
happened, the situation would no longer be under
their hands and control.
 They also feared that the Muslims would become
very strong and take control over the northern
Arabia and Syria and disrupt their trade.

QURAISH BECAME
ANXIOUS
PLOT TO KILL PROPHET
MUHAMMAD(SAW) IN
DARUL NADWA
 The Disbelievers Gathered In Dar An-nadwa To
Discuss What To Do With The Prophet. Iblis Was
Present With Them In The Form Of An Old Sheikh
From The Tribe Of Najd. Everyone Gave Their
Views, But Every Time Iblis Rejected The Views And
Was Not Happy With Their Ideas.
 The Various Suggestions Were
 Let Them Go– But They Would Become Stronger
 Let Us Imprison – But They Would Gather Strenght
And Attack
 This Continued Until Abu Jahl Said, “I Think We
Should Choose One Strong Youth From Every Tribe
Of Quraysh, And Give Each One Of Them A Strong
Sword For Them All To Hit Him (The Prophet) At
One Time, All Together, As One Man. In Such A
Way, All The Tribes Will Participate In The Murder.”
 To This, The Sheikh From An-najd Said, “This, And
Only This, Is The Correct View; All The Other Ideas
Are Not Suitable.” So They Parted After All Of
Them Agreed On This Plan.
  But Allah, the knower of the unseen, the All Hearer
and the One who knows what is hidden in the
hearts of the people, knew about the plans of the
Quraysh and He would protect His Prophet َ‫صلىَهللا‬
.‫عليهَوسلم‬So Jibreel came down with glad tidings that
the Prophet َ‫صلىَهللاَعليهَوسلم‬can now migrate to
Madinah and join his companions. And the angel
Jibreel also informed of the evil plans of the Quraysh
and told him not to sleep on his bed that night. So
when everyone went to sleep, Quraysh surrounded
the Prophet’s house, unaware that Allah was
plotting against them too.

ALLAH (SWT) SENDS

JIBRAIL(AS)
  َ‫وك‬ َ ‫وك أ َ َْو يَ ْقتل‬ََ ‫ين َكفَرواَ ِليثْ ِبت‬
ََ ‫ك ٱلَّ ِذ‬
ََ ‫َو ِإ َْذ يَ ْمكرَ ِب‬
ََّ ‫ٱَّللَۖ َو‬
‫ٱَّلل َخَْي‬ َّ َ‫ون َويَ ْمكر‬ ََ ‫وكَۚ َويَ ْمكر‬ َ ‫أ َ َْو ي ْخ ِرج‬
ََ ‫رَ ْٱل َم ٰـ ِك ِر‬
‫ين‬
 And [remember, O Muhammad], when those who
disbelieved plotted against you to restrain you or kill you
or evict you [from Makkah]. But they plan, and Allah
plans. And Allah is the best of planners. (Surah AlAnfal:
30)

SURAH ANFAL AYAH 30

  HAZRAT AYESHA (RA) NARRATES THAT THE
PROPHET(SAW) VISITED THEIR HOUSE AT
NOON AND INFORMED ABU BAKR SIDIQ THAT
ALLAH HAD GRANTED PERMISSION FOR
THEM TO MIGRATE
 AYESHA NARRATES THAT SHE SAW IT FIRST
TIME THAT A PERSON CAN CRY ON BECOMING
HAPPY.
 ABU BAKR(RA) HAD PREPARED TWO CAMELS
FOR MIGRATION BUT PROPHET SAW PAID FOR
ONE .
 BOTH OF THEM PREPARED FOR HIJRAT.

THE PROPHET(SAW) VISITS ABU

BAKR(RA)’S HOUSE
  The Prophet ‫صلىَهللاَعليهَوسلم‬made Ali َ‫رضيَهللاَعنه‬to
sleep in his place and quietly went out and took a
handful of dust in his hands and sprinkled above
the youths head while reciting this Ayah.

 ‫ن خ َْل ِف ِه َْم‬ َِ ‫و َِ َجعَ ْلنَا ِمنَ بَي‬

َ ‫ْن أ َ ْي ِدي ِه َْم‬
َْ ‫س ًّۭدا َو ِم‬
ََ ‫ْصر‬
‫ون‬ ِ ‫ل يب‬ َ َ ‫ش ْينَ ٰـه َْم فَه َْم‬َ ‫س ًّۭدا فَأ َ ْغ‬
َ
 And We have put before them a barrier and behind
them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see.
(Surah Ya-Sin: 9)
THE PROPHET
MUHAMMAD(SAW) LEAVES
UNHARMED
 The youths outside did not see the Prophet َ‫صلىَهللا‬
َ‫عليهَوسلم‬leaving the house, and when it was day
break and when Ali came out instead of the Prophet
َ‫صلىَهللاَعليهَوسلم‬they realized they were tricked and
coaxed Ali into telling them where the Prophet was,
but Ali َ‫رضيَهللاَعنه‬did not budge. Then they went to
the house of Abu Bakr and found out that his was
missing too, so they asked his daughter Asma’a and
when she also declined to tell them where the
Prophet was, the furious Abu Jahl, slapped her so
hard that her earrings fell off.
 The Quraysh grew even furious, they would do
anything to find the Prophet َ‫صلىَهللاَعليهَوسلم‬alive or
dead.
