“Degradation Moral and Culture of Indonesia and How to Face

It”
Assalamualaikum wr.wb.

Good afternoon to all audience, and all teachers.

Before I begin to give a speech, I would like to invite you all to thanks to
The Almighty God, Who has given us mercy and blessing, so we can meet
together in this english speech contest. It’s really honorable for me to get in into
final, many thanks i want to say to my teachers and my friends for their support.

Before we send a message to people start by good Assalamualaikum, now

we start it with by a single “P”. Before many children indolizing their parents,
now children indolizing Justin Bieber. Before kids play hide and seek with their
friends now they played PUBG Mobile.

Maybe to mention it all gonna take a long of time, all things that i said
before is how significant the changes because globalization.

Ladies and Gentleman. We all know that we have entered the globalization
era. What is exactly this globalization era?

Globalization is the process of uniting the citizens of the world in which

the process also consist of economy, technology, social and culture forces. With
this system we can freely cooperate with other country without any area
restriction.

It is really amazing right?

But, with this condition, globalization era already give some bad effect to
our country. One of the effect that we can feel is degradation of Indonesia's
morale and culture.

Please look of your family, are their remember name’s ‘Oppa’ Korea or
our Indonesian hero? Or you can see your friend, what kind of cloths that their
wear? Is it a mini-style clothes or not? And you can also ask to yourself, are you
prefer listening Indonesian song or west song?
 In here, we can see that us, especially Indonesian teenager, already forget
who are we. We lose our identity. We are too stunned with others country and too
shy about ours. Do you feel that way too?

If yes, we have to change it right now before it is too late.

We can start from our family. The family environment contributes very
significantly to development of adolescent behaviour, the role of parents and
relatives is more dominant in educating, guiding, and supervising as well as
giving more super attention to the development of adolescent behaviour.

Next is education system. Education should be prioritizing guidance and

fostering constructive, independent, and creative behaviour in every level of
education. This is to train mental and moral integrity adolescents towards the
formation of personal and social resilience to face the conflict of values prevailing
in the environment of adolescents themselves.

After that, we have to apply a good punishment that can be a shock

therapy for adolescents who commit deviant actions. These sanctions are applied
starting from the family environment, school environment, and the police and
other institutions.

But, from three things above that I already explained, the most important
thing to face degradation moral and culture in globalization era is ourselves. We
must know the good and bad side of things before we do it. We also can start to
know more about our culture and show it to the world.

So what you prefer? It’s up to you but remember don’t lose our identity.
