Attendance

1. The Office of the Communications Officers has been created to officiate the attendance of all
students enrolled in the subject. By attendance include concerns, issues and difficulties that cause the
non-appearance of students during class hours as scheduled. The officers keep a record of student
attendance and tardiness and any circumstance or events that may lead to unsuccessful appearance of
the students to class. Whenever students experience difficulties with the attendance to class, they are
expected to inform the officers and the teacher right away.

Student Output

1. All student outputs must be submitted to the eclass. They are expected to adhere to the
instructions given to them by the teacher. Should there be any concern, students must consult their
teacher in the soonest time.

Class Participation

1. All students are expected to actively participate in all class activities. They are expected to be
more responsive to the lessons given by the teacher by sharing their thoughts, feelings,
comments, doubts, dilemmas and what not. Therefore, they are expected to engage in class
discussion rather than staying idle behind the camera. They take every opportunity at learning
as their best chance to improve their skills and gain more knowledge.
2. All students are expected to be TACTFUL in conveying their messages or expressing their
thoughts and their feelings all the time. It is alright to use abbreviated words for as long as your
language does not generate bias, prejudice, bigotry, shame, etc. in others.

FRAMES OF MIND
* Homebased and school based a priori knowledge as well as empirical standpoints are
welcomed on the discussion table. This is to keep an open mind and to promote the culture of
dialogue. However, one has to be sensitive to the disposition of others. Let us not be quick to
pass judgment on others including your instructors or professors. RESPECT is key to harmonious
relationships between and among different minds. If the teacher for example, in the course of
his discussion, gives you more details, to the point of an overload of concepts on your part, you
may raise your hand and express your concern RIGHT AWAY. But in response to student needs
of fruitful learning, the JAMBOARD (acts as freedom wall) will be provided to you. It will be
posted in the eclass.

CONSULTATION TIME
Definition:
It refers to the opportunity given to students to clarify instructions that are vague to them in
order to perform in class according to expectations.
It can be a venue to affirm acceptable behaviors in order to recognize their efforts in achieving
their work in class. On the other hand, the teacher makes sure that students are reminded of
their best behavior in class.
It establishes a dialogical exchange between teachers and students in the teaching and learning
process, thus promoting professional growth.
It is best given without being selective of the time to the students, but should be based on
humanitarian sensibilities. The student can consult their teachers anytime of the day, provided
that it will not come in the way of other important matters.
It can be used for the students to see their strengths and areas for improvement so that the
teachers can help them so.
It can be used for deeper inquiry into the subject matter where students may go beyond class
hours to pursue a more satisfactory appreciation of the lesson.
