Praise be to the almighty God for his love and his grace so that the writer can
complete this paper of Critical Journal Review on time. The writer also thanked to Mr.Riswan
Zega S.P.d.,M.Hum as our lecturer at subject of TRANSLATION, who gives us this
Assignment.
The author also realizes that the writing of this paper has many flaws from various
perspectives, so the writer is desperate for constructive criticism to enable the writer to write
the correct paper one another.
In the last The writer hopes that the paper will be of use to the reader and that it
will be useful in enricing the study of english education.

INTRODUCTION

1.1 Backgound
CJR is an activity to review a journal with the aim of knowing whether the journal
is worth using or not. I did this journal review activity for several reasons, the first was so that
I would know what the strengths and weaknesses of the journal I had chosen were, the second
was so that my insight or knowledge could increase after doing this activity, and the last one
was that this activity was a necessary condition. what I have to do in order to graduate from
the TRANSLATION course, which is taught by Mr.Riswan Zega S.P.d.,M.Hum and continue
to the next course in the next semester.

DISCUSSION

1.1 THE STRENGTHNESS OF THE JOURNAL

The strengthness in each journal can certainly be found in various writings, but
there must be some advantages that stand out in each journal. The advantage of this journal is
that this journal is very reliable because the author includes many references so that the
journal is very attractive. Then the journal typing is done well because it uses left and right
alignment so it looks neat. The third author provides keywords in the journal. Then this
journal already has an ISSN which means this journal has been recognized internationally.

1.3 THE WEAKNESSES OF THE JOURNAL

We can also find weaknesses in various journals as well as this journal which has
several weaknesses, namely, first, the journal, entitled a translation method to obtain
naturalness in target language texts, experienced several errors in word editing, for example
lack of letters in words or sentences. Then the material presented is not given in detail so that
readers are confused in understanding the contents of the journal. Then this journal uses
words or language that is difficult for some people to understand, or does not use simple
explanations.

1.4 SUGGESTION
After I did this review journal I have suggestions that might be used, in order to
improve existing weaknesses. My advice for the author is to use an explanation that is easy to
understand so that everyone understands the explanation given. In presenting the material,
more attention must be paid, and the typing must also be considered so that there are no
different interpretations.

CLOSING

Each written work certainly has characteristics that differ from one another, both in
terms of language, advantages, and disadvantages. Journals must contain information that has
been clearly explained by the author regardless of the shortcomings contained in each journal,
but it is certain that each journal will bring benefits to readers in terms of more information
income. regarding the shortcomings of journals so that they are further investigated to achieve
maximum results. I also as a writer apologize if in conducting this journal review I made
mistakes both in terms of writing and the structure that I have made.
