REVEW EXERCISE-2

A. The Silent Cohort, often known as the Traditionalist Cohort, includes people who were born
between 1928 and 1945. It's well known that kids of this generation follow the rules and only
want to do what is expected of them. After experiencing the horrors of World War 2 and the
Great Depression, the parents of the Silent generation decided to have fewer children in the
1930s. Many of these children had to assume greater responsibility at an early age because their
parents had perished in the war. The older of the two boys, in particular, is made to take on the
responsibilities of household head and provide for his younger brothers. These events had some
effect on how the Silents perceived them.
1. Patriotism- The silent generation has a strong sense of patriotism because the majority of its
members fought their country in World War 2 in Korea and Vietnam. Some of them have also
signed up for active duty in the military.
2. Value of work- Putting food on the table is arguably the finest thing you could do for the
family as Great Depression survivors, both as children of survivors and as survivors themselves.
The common traits of a Silent include working hard, according to the rules, and maintaining a
low profile. The Silent think that rewards and promotions should depend on how diligent you are
in your work.
3. Family Member Roles- The values of the traditional family are important to this generation.
While wives should stay at home to raise the children, men should provide for the family. Boys
go along with their fathers and pick up the core skills that a man ought to have. On the other
hand, mothers instruct their daughters in household chores and responsibilities.
4. Cooperative action- The goal of the silent generation is financial stability; in other words, they
see employment as a privilege that should be preserved for as long as feasible. Especially at
work, silent people make ideal team members who accept authority and cooperate. Most of them
didn't change careers, in contrast to newer generations.

B.

C. The individual who is least necessary to the boat's operation should be sacrificed, according to
the legalistic equality road. That would be the man's wife in this situation.
The individual who is best able to swim to safety and save the others should be sacrificed,
according to the duty and relationships pathway. That would be the man's son in this instance.

The hierarchy's level has to do with actions that have physiological and motivational
explanations. The individual's activities are explained and given an explanation using this
hierarchy. One appears to transition from a needs-based motivational system to an inner-
subjective set of emotions, attitudes, beliefs, and ideas that constitutes that person's unique
worldview at some point.
The Captain, who is in his early 50s, would be considered a member of "Generation X." The
birth years would be late 1968 to early 1989. Their lack of independence, autonomy, and
cynicism are their guiding principles. This generation values close supervision at the workplace
and considers that options and flexibility are necessary. They are renowned for making different
decisions. Self-reliance is among some virtues and traits. Risk-takers, freedom of choice,
informality, and individuality.
F.
According to Kohlberg and Gilligan's research, women are more prone to focus on relationships
and helping others, whereas men are more likely to focus on individual accomplishment and
competition. The primary distinction between the genders in the development of values is this.
Our culture has traditionally assigned men and women to different duties, which is thought to be
the root of this disparity. This diversity in people's decision-making processes might start to
diminish as our culture moves toward gender equality.
G.
The "Sanctuary Cities" would not be permitted to operate, and the federal government would
continue to prosecute illegal immigrants in court. In a same spirit, federal legislation in Colorado
makes it unlawful to use, distribute, cultivate, or possess marijuana. Any person detected in
possession of marijuana would be subject to arrest and prosecution by federal authorities, and
this would continue to happen.

They punish the losing defendant by requiring them to give the plaintiff compensation because
Simpson lost his civil case, therefore he was ordered to make restitution to Nicole Brown
Simpson and Ronald Goldman's bereaved families. And was found guilty of armed robbery in
2008, receiving a 33-year jail sentence in Nevada.

The legal framework that controls the creation of governmental bodies like OSHA is known as
"administrative law." Administrative law covers the process through which a newly constituted
government agency develops rules and regulations to carry out its mandate.

This relates to public law. Medicare fraud is a serious offense with major ramifications for the
general population. This is due to Medicare, a government-funded program that offers senior
citizens health care services. Health care professionals are essentially stealing from the taxpayers
when they cheat the system.
The case will be treated as a felony. Medicare fraud is frequently prosecuted as a crime. This is
due to the fact that it is a serious crime with potential for broad societal repercussions. Health
care practitioners who are found guilty of Medicare fraud may be subject to harsh punishments,
such as prison time. They might also be obligated to make compensation to the government.
