PRADS 2022 – Instructions for Online Participants

For online participants, the stream will be on the Zoom platform. It is neces-
sary to download the Zoom application (more info on https://support.
zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/4415294177549-Downloading-the-Zoom-desk-
top-client-and-mobile-app; or Zoom will begin to download automatically
when you start or join your first Zoom meeting), create an account (it’s free),
and follow the link given in the further text.

All meetings are scheduled based on time zone: Warsaw (GMT + 2:00) /
Dubrovnik.

When you click the invitation link it will lead you to zoom main session room,
and how it looks is shown in Figure 1. From this main session, you choose, on
your own, in which room you want to participate, or where you have a pres-
entation. You have to find in the meeting “Breakout rooms”. If it’s not on the
main taskbar, then find “…”, like in Figure 2, and choose “Breakout rooms”.
Furthermore, you are able to choose which room you want to attend like it
is in Figure 3. Now you are joined in a room (Figure 4, and Figure 5), and in
the same way, you can enter other rooms. If you want to leave the room and
go back to the main session, or leave a meeting, you press the icon “Leave
Room”, or how it is shown in the Figure 6 and Figure 7. If you will present
your presentation online, then you will have to share your screen which
is shown in Figure 8, and when finished, you can stop sharing your screen
which is shown in Figure 9.

Participants that are presenting their articles online ARE REQUIRED TO

PREPARE A NARRATED VIDEO PRESENTATION of their submission(s). In case
we will have technical issues, a bad connection, or some other issue, so we
can play your presentation to the audience. Please keep the presentation
duration at around 20 minutes and the video file around or under 200Mb in
size. The deadline for submitting your video presentations is 8th of October.
