ACTIVITY 4: Say It!

In a video presentation, pick ten items from your home that you typically utilize in your daily
life. First, enumerate your chosen items to discuss. Second, ask questions that will lead
people to your chosen item, such as "What is this?" Finally, give your item a name (for
instance, "This is a pen"). Keep in mind that you must incorporate the lesson 2 discussions
in your video presentation. Meaning, you should use demonstrative, modifiers, etc. in your
video presentation along with the English terms and Japanese translations. (50 points)

Example script (Do not copy):

:Minnasan Konnichiwa. Today, I will be introducing to you ten different items from our house.

:First item, what is this? In Japanese, これ は なん です か。

:Hmm. This is a pen…. In Japanese, これ はペン です。

:and so on.

Notes to Remember:

1. BE CREATIVE! You may not follow the sample script above, just make sure that you have the English
and Japanese version of your sentences.

2. Review the vocabularies given to you in your FLS 1 and FLS 2 which you can utilize in your
presentation.

3. Limit yourself in the content of our discussion to avoid confusion. In short, do not use Google or any
apps as translator.
