This is a web application used to
look information or search data
over the world wide web
(WWW).
 The information that we need is
already in the internet/web. Its
just a matter of how to look for it
and how to use the information
from the most credible source.
• It is used to limit the searches to
specific topic, titles, or technologies.
• In some search engines, AND operator
is implied or you do not need to
always include the term in your
searches.
• It is interpreted as at least one is
required, more than one or all can be
returned.
• In some search engines, OR operator
should be encapsulated in
parentheses.
• It excludes specific search terms and
so the query will not return any results
with that term or terms in them.
• Use also the asterisk symbol to
broaden search.
• Use the tilde symbol before the word
to show related or synonyms.
• Use the @ symbol before the name of
the site followed by the word login, to
search for the login page.
• Use the @ symbol to search for the
price of a specific item
• Use the hash symbol to search for a
trending topic.
• Use the minus/dash symbol to exclude
something in your search.
• Use the ellipsis symbol to show range.
