ABSTRACT
The research study investigate and Analyzing the problems of student teachers during teaching
practice in some selected schools in Ningi Local Government Local Area Bauchi State.
Descriptive survey design was adopted for the study and the population of the study was made up
of some selected primary schools in the study area. Simple random sampling technique was used
for selecting (60) respondents for the study. Structured questionnaire was used to collect the
data for the research. The questionnaires were collected by the researchers themselves. The data
were analyzed using simple percentage. The findings of the study indicated that teachers in the
selected schools in the study area were mostly male and 71.7% percentage of the respondents
have WAEC, NCE/OND, HND,BSc education. The findings also indicated that the students
teachers faced a lot of problems such as Inability of student teachers to conform to rules of the
school of practice, Lack accommodation for students teachers, Lack of table/chairs for students
teachers, Non co-operative attitude of the regular teachers with students and Overcrowded
classroom are some of the major problems faced by the students teachers in the study area.
