C.) Interpreting a Simple Graph

1. What are the things that you see in the graph?

         The things we see in a graph are the  label, title, the grid lines, symbol key and the X and
Y-axis. It gives a clear comparison between categories. Graph can be bar graph, line graph and
pictograph. Graph are to read off information about how many are in each category without
having to refer back to the data table, which may or may not be provided with every graph we
see.
2. Do they help you to know the details?
          Yes, because graph illustrate relationships in a data. It also show you how numbers have
changed over time. Graph can helps us get a clearer picture of our research findings and how
they compare with other data. Graph is useful when you need to present a quantity of numerical
data in an accessible format and you need to show exact numbers. 
3. Name the important things that you need in making your own graph?
The important things that I need in making my own graph are the title, labels , data, and the
symbol key .

A pictograph is a graph that uses pictures to show
the total number for each item. In a pictograph,
each picture represents certain number of items.
