Unlike typhoons where preparations can be done before it landfall, earthquakes are on a
different level since no one can tell the exact time and place where an it will happen. Furthermore, an
earthquake cause ground shaking, ground rupture and can trigger or induce other disasters such as
fires, landslides, liquefaction, and worse, tsunami. It has a great impact physically, psychologically,
economically, and even environmentally. That is why it is a huge threat to lives and live stocks and if its
risks will be assessed, the impacts are extreme and are certain to happen at not defined time. In a
nutshell, it is considered as one of the most dangerous natural disasters.
